Two of my favorites! This was fun. An interesting thing I noticed today, I also have that Venus/Saturn in my 8th house (I was born 8 days after Anne, so there are commonalities and coincidentally her moon is exactly on my ascendant.), and my mother also has Venus/Saturn conjoined and it falls right on my Chiron in Capricorn.
Oh how interesting. I’m a Venus Saturn gal too. Definitely pluses and minuses to that one 😝

My Mother had 5 children. In my 8th house - I have nothing. I had what consider a fraught relationship with my Mother.

So my question is you mentioned the fourth house is the mother's house now the sign that is there in your fourth house in Anne's chart it's Gemini, is that Ann's mother's sun or rising sign? You said that the fourth house is her mother's first house, and the sign in one's first house is ascendant. Please clarify that for me, thank you very interesting.
I know it can be a bit confusing. When looking at Anne's chart and her 4th house it is HER experience of her mother. It often coincides with that other person's Sun, Moon or Ascendant but it might not always be literal. In this case it is her mother's rising sign if I remember correctly but it is important to remember this is her experience of her mother not her mother's chart. Make sense?
Yes I’m a Virgo rising n my mom was a Gemini yet it’s yes the oldest I’m 3 rd to the oldest 2nd to the youngest . She’s passed do guess I’m now the youngest .

I think this is the course :) You can look on her website to see if she has any additional information but this is how she teaches it - you can consider this your course. I know she is teaching a track at OPA in October which is an expansion of her predictive work. I hope this helps.
Also I see she is using Placidus House System. What if then the 4th House has two signs ruling? Or do you go with he sign at the cusp of the house?

How do you look at your mothers house and mine if adopted
I think if you are adopted or not your mother is your mother so the process is the same as Anne outlined.
How in the world do people get the houses in their mother’s chart when time of birth is unknown? Can you rectify a chart after someone has passed? Thanks so much.
There are astrologers that do rectification but I am not one of them. It is quite an art and takes a lot of time. You absolutely can rectify someone's chart after they pass. Anne might be someone that can help if you want to check out her website.

Anne, why did you decide to rectify your chart? I was adopted and had my chart rectified and was adopted as well. How do I read my Mother's chart? Biological or Adopted charts or both can be read, because I do know both birthdays, but not birth times. Thank you!

If you have two parents who were divorced and have conflicting views but shared traumas/issues (and the planets are arranged in such a way as to mirror the complexities of both individuals) is there scope for looking at the 10th and the 4th as representing both parents simultaneously? Or is there perhaps room for analysing the 10th as the mother, the 4th as the father if their specific roles reflected more the themes of those houses in your life?
Yes. I have seen the 10th represent the mother and the 4th the father or some version of both. I think the important thing to understand is that this is your personal experience and the 4th/10th house axis provides information about your inner foundation and your outer foundation.
😅 my fourth house in Taurus but my mother was a virgo sun. I don't know her time of birth but is it possible that I can adjust time to where she's a Taurus ascendant? Would that be accurate?
Good question. Rectification is quite an art. I think you can absolutely try and see if other biographical pieces of her life fall into place with that rising sign.
What would it mean if the moon is in the 8th house? (when looking at the mother)
Your moon is in the 8th house or your mother’s is? 8th house moons indicate a degree of intensity (depending on the sign how that is expressed) it can also indicate struggles (abuse and death for example) or gifts of powerful intuition and/or financial inheritance.

This is all very interesting. Unfortunately I lack the wherewithal to properly use this with my family. My family starting with my maternal grandmother down to me is very unusual. Meanwhile I didn't meet my father until I was 28 and haven't seen him since. While I know the birthdays of my parents and my maternal grandparents, I don't know their Ascendants. I know nothing of my father's side of the family. I don't have any siblings whom I know personally. My father has 2 kids but I don't know them. I wonder if my Natal chart explains the unusual nature of my family apart from the fact that the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Houses are empty. My houses of family, siblings and mother are vacant.
Well, you can still use her method using g your own house to learn about your family experience in your own life. I used it for mine and it was interesting. What is in your 10th house? What sign?
@@lawlessastrology It's split between Aquarius from 25 degrees to all of Pisces in the Placidus system or only Pisces in the Whole House system. My Sun and Midheaven are in Aquarius but nothing in Pisces.
I have another question, because I also find this fascinating, In Anne's chart her 10th house, her father it showed Sagitarius, but the father is a rising leo, and sun aries. So does the 10th house state the element of the sign rather than the sign itself? For the mother, I had the question below, which was answered in the mother's chart. The mother's rising was Gemini so I thought the 4th house was rising. Please clarify, thanks! Great video!
Thanks for the questions. It is Anne's experience of her father and their relationship which I think she talks about him being kind of a larger than life figure and someone who was very opinionated - sort of that Sag/Jupiter figure. It can but isn't always literally the same sign as the person but it can inform a bit about that person even if they don't have the exact planet prominently - her father could have Jupiter on the Midheaven or Ascendant or in the 4th house - lots of combinations to back up the the symbolism but the main thing is how this person shows up in Anne's life vs say her sister who may have a different experience of their father. I hope this helps.
