- In this video we look what to expect from the dramatic finale of Pluto in Capricorn in September. We examine Pluto in Capricorn since 2008 and why this pass will harken back to the same themes but will be entirely different - since as Kamala Harris says: "We are not going back!"

Thank you Dabney for this video. This Pluto Rx back into Capricorn won't have the intense effect of whiplash as it had last year. Yes we're definitely going to see the calcified, ossified and inevitably fossilized structures and powers desperately grasping and clinging on as they pass away. Frankly Pluto's Capricorn act is old and stale. It needs to get off the toilet and get flushed down. Uranus Rx Taurus is also an encore and unsolicited curtain call for another tedious act. Uranus Taurus is akin to being forced to watch a Lars von Trier retrospective. Fortunately the New Moon in Virgo will assist us collectively to get through the tedium and the pressure of her sister Earth signs in Rx. Remember Virgo is there to help the collective. It's going to be a bumpy Fall. There'll be plenty of white knuckle moments as we collectively take off in our Jumbo jet from the Earth into the Air. It's going to be a turbulent ascent until we reach cruising altitude of Pluto Direct in Aquarius. But we're not going crash. We're not going back.

As an aside (when I’m ready I’m going to do a video on it) my family was on a plane last week Alaska Airlines - and the engine went out 20 minutes into the flight. It was terrifying and we had to make an emergency landing with fire trucks and everything. People were calling and texting loved ones to say goodbye. People were crying. Thankfully we made it safely. So your analogy here really strikes me as synchronistic. Intuitively, I didn’t think we were going to die but yeah never know and I think that is the feeling right now. Prepare for the worst but expect the best. We are not going back. Thank you for helping me with your intuitive comment. When are you starting your new astrology channel? Also my personal Uranus is currently squaring my 8th house Mars - so yeah. That was quite fitting!
@@lawlessastrology Whoa! What a story about your flight! I'm so glad that nothing happened. I would be personally devastated if we had lost you. I used that metaphor based on my first overseas trip when I was 20. I flew from JFK to London on a British Airways Boeing 747 and before takeoff the captain warned us that it was going to be a bumpy ascent. I wasn't worried because I knew that the 747 was the safest aircraft and British Airways had a good safety record. I handled the takeoff listening to the Ministry song "Thieves" which is a thrash punk song. The turbulence synched with the music and it was as if the plane was slam dancing. Loads of fun. I was thrashing around in my seat having a blast while my two female college students sitting next to me had white knuckles. I might have been the only one on the plane having having a blast during the takeoff and ascent. I was pumped with adrenalin and excitement for my first overseas trip and was confident that it wasn't going to be curtailed by disaster. Sure enough the turbulence ended when we reached cruising altitude. (Saturn Aquarius was conjunct my Sun and Moon that night. :) As for my astrology channel it seems that I need to get one going. It's been suggested by many people over the past few years. With Pluto transiting my 9th House for the next 20 years, it seems to be calling me to take up astrology as a serious focus and occupation. So yes you can look for its launch within the next month or two.
I too have studied evolutionary astrology for several years. I am amazed how literally Pluto transits are taking visual and real form right now. I could not have dreamt Kamala Harris/Tim Walz, yet here they are. I believe Kamala has North Node conjunct her Ascendant, natal, which means you are always in the right place at the right time. NN/Ascendant is tall and lanky, and easily adapts to surroundings and surrounding people.

@@pdk9903 oh yes!!! I've been subscribed now for a couple of years! Believe me, I am not that talented to think of this phrase all by myself, 😆 but, in "borrowing" the phrase, I thought it was apt in describing Pluto's sojourn back into Cap as a *cleanup* of sorts.
But thank you tho, for the suggestion. Either way- let's all try helping Pluto by continually calling out the more negative aspects of the current NRG'IES of this time we're all in.

I just love your interpretations of astrology. Yes, I feel huge changes coming but also for the first time in 8 years feel strong in the energy of “not going back”…hearing your interpretation helped me with big decision I’m currently making to move to be close to my son and his family. My husband and I were ready to move to Italy where he was born but decided to stay in the US and fight for this country!!!! Moving to Austin, Texas where I went to college from Phoenix AZ where I have lived for 30 years (son and family now in Austin)…we turned Arizona blue and now on to Austin. Going to fight there to turn it back to blue where it was when I was in college in the 70’s!!!!

Not sure our paths crossed since I am 72 years old and my son moved there for grad school in 2013 and after some time on the west coast went back in 2018 and married woman he met in grad school…All our family is either in California or Texas now (where I was born) but now that we have a 9 month old granddaughter in Austin we just can’t stay away!!! Plus our son is ecstatic to have family in town now to help out! When I left Austin for the East Coast in 1986 it was still a somewhat blue state and have no idea what the heck happened!!!!! Keep up the good work- I learn so much from you and loved Christopher as well…studied comparative religion and world history at UT so am so attuned to historical perspective on astrology…..would love to get reading from you. What a beautiful explanation of Pluto changing signs and this difficult time we are in. On a personal level, I have had Pluto square to my Moon, Ascendant, and Neptune which are at 28 degrees Libra. During this time my father died, my husband was diagnosed with dementia and my son with MS. In spite of all these horrible things, I am learning to step up as a leader and caregiver in my family and not to depend on others to take care of me as much (in the sense that I used to be very emotionally needy). The Make America great again actually originated in the 1930'-40s in America. In fact the entire playbook we've been living in was outlined then. Rachel Maddow delves deep into this topic in her book Prequel. It's an interesting book if anyone wants to dig deep.

From 2011 and 2016 Pluto was square Uranus. (Hard for me as I have a natal cardinal cross in mid degrees.)

I was not clear. I have been striving to support schools in reducing bullying since Pluto went into Capricorn. My book on cyber bullying was published 2007. I knew then why what schools were doing was not working.
About 16 years too early, I realized that what educators are told about bullying was wrong. They were told that those who bully are at risk youth.
The students who are more likely the source of bullying are those who are being hurtful to achieve dominance and social status. Power. They bully those who have lower power and are “weird.” They also engage in battles with rivals. They revel in the support of their followers. sound familiar?
In schools that function in an authoritarian manner- rules and punishment by the dominant principal - there is more bullying. The rules and punishment approach, which is in every state statute, will never be effective in reducing or responding to this kind of behavior.
This is what I have been trying to communicate for 16 years. Unsuccessfully.
There are 2 paths to leadership. One is the path of dominance. The other path is called prestige. I do not like that term. Prestige leaders take care of their community. They have skills and compassion that are welcomed. I believe this dynamic is related to the Pluto through Capricorn venture.
Which leadership paradigm will resonate as we move into Aquarius?
What I have tried to tell schools is they have to get their prestige leader students into leadership roles to change the environment.
My personal challenge is that I saw this years ago. I have essentially failed to be able to effectively communicate about this to school leaders. For 16 years. So much sorrow and loss.
I also have 10 cardinal signs in my natal chart. Especially mid degrees. I lost just about everything in 2015-6. This passage has been hard.
I was also diagnosed with uterine cancer June 2023. Pluto was square my ascendant. So I am now hoping to stay alive long enough to get my insight into some manner so it can make a difference.
Now Pluto is back into Capricorn. Back square my ascendant. I have 2 enlarged lymph nodes by my heart. My heart is broken because I have failed for so long. So both are connected. After 16 years I am having a hard time finding any hope.

You will resonate with the insight in the article. This also fits in with your evolutionary perspective.
Dominance behavior is apparent with most animals. I just put 2 goats back into a field with my babies and moms. One of these, a 1 year old wether, is head butting the babies to establish dominance.
But not all animals. The leader of an orca whale pod is the oldest female. She knows how to support birth and she knows where the salmon are.
