Thanks for the peek @ a vintage race f/m across the pond. Looks like my kind of fun, muddy and no jumps lol. Appreciate the content, I live in eastern Kentucky, USA, in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. We have nothing but Japanese bikes here so it’s interesting to see machinery I’ve never heard of. I like hearing these mysterious bikes on your channel and the info. you give on them. Good editing and great work, now I’m off to eat some haggis and have a pint lol.
Shane Johnson Hi Shane thanks for your comment and glad you appreciate my work. I visited the USA a couple of years ago as my daughter was in university at Billings Montana and I had a whistle stop tour of Yellowstone etc, but I fell in love with the USA and just love the amount of space you enjoy over there. Once again thanks and stay safe my friend.
I love these old twin shock, air cooled, carbureted bikes. I raced MX as a teenager in the late 1970s on a 1972 Bultaco Pursang 250. MX was a totally different thing back then. Almost no jumps and the track covered a huge area. I am somewhat disgusted by the new style computer controlled bikes and the new style of racing. Seems like the bikes should have wings instead of wheels. I may be 61 now, but I wish I could get my hands on one of these old bikes and try vintage racing. It's just about non existent in the U.S.
