I keep reading people mentioning there's no ladder on that mountain to get the last cell. There won't be a ladder there until you get to that specific mission "The Mountain that Fell" as explained in the description under main video above. This is one of the last missions. There is a way to game it so that you can get power cell 4 from All mother's temple before the door opens for that specific mission. However, you can't get that last cell until the mission mentioned above.
Thank you. People are still asking about that ladder lol. Not being able to get that last power cell and then the ancient armor until the game is almost finished, was obviously by design. Ancient Armor is a pretty powerful armor, as it repels a tremendous amount of damage (fire, freeze, electrical, explosive, etc.). Without that armour, defending the Nora against the robot invasion, and then defeating the robots defending HADES, would have been nearly impossible for me. If you had access to that armor earlier would have made a lot of the bosses too easy.

Anybody else collected them during missions unknowingly and then found out that you only have one left to complete this mission, and didn't even know which locations they already got the power cell from and had to go check every one of them again?
I hope you will always have green lights, never run out of milk for coffee, and always have flawless fps. No legit, you saved me. Especially with the map refs and how to arrive. So many people don't even bother they're like "here it is" in some generic cave who knows where.
I really hate the fact that Aloy would always grap the lowest thing on a jump. The ladder is right there, but she grabs a small ass knob 10 feet lower and make you climb up to the ladder. It always makes me think I missed the jump.
Use this as a frustration button for anyone who died climbing makers end and had to do it all over again If anyone asks how I fell I was sprinting through doors and I sprinted through this particular one. Turns it was the elevator shaft.
I finished the game and the gate to all mother didn't open. But there is a secret passage to go inside to find the power cell. If you look to the left of the door, there is a vent to sneak through in order to get in the door. Like so other people can see.
ADDED TIP: If you find that the door is closed at the ALL MOTHER location (power cell #2 location on this guide), you should see a crawl space on the left of the door. crawl through it where the candles are and you should be able to reach the other side of the door and grab the power cell.
I accidentally stumbled upon the ruins that had the armor and unknowingly had 3 power cells to use on the door. I have to find two more. The crappy part is now I have to figure out which power cells I already have 😭
It might be overwhelming for players who focus on the story and just complete misions as fast as they can, but for players who likes to explore de world and fell themselves inside this HZD universe (listening to all audio tapes as soon as they find it, reading all the ancient ones notes, making sure they don't skip any room before going forward, etc.) they pretty much collect all of them without even trying. It was my case! :) Anyways, for both kind of players this tutorial is amazing and very handy
@@ryann45 That was exactly my problem too. I didn't even realise what the whole pawer cell thing was about until I finished the main story line and somehow got prompted to investigate the subject only to find I had 2 cells and no idea which ones I had already.

Are you talking about the fifth power cell at GAIA Prime, at minute 17:30 of the video? If so, a ladder will not be there until you get to one of the last missions in the game, "The Mountain That Fell." I found this out the hard way when I went to that spot before that mission started and there was no ladder. Once that mission starts and you make your way there, the ladder will spawn.
I tried to get all of these early on (right around the time I went to Meridian) and 3 of the power cells are not accessible. Makers end won't work unless you do the quest. Gaia Prime won't work unless you do the quest. And Grave hoard won't work unless you do the quest... Kind of a bummer, you basically can't get this armor until you're practically done with the game. Would have been fun to be OP that early.

There's a glitch to get the 5th power cell earlier in the game with no ladder. Took me about 5 minutes to successfully jump up. No need to wait until close to the end of the game.

At 14:28 when you are about to get power cell number 4 I see that when you first enter the room the power cell is not there. But then the video cuts and the power cell has magically appeared. Well I'm in the situation where I have entered the room and it's not there. How did you make it appear?
you guys won't believe this. I finished the game, and I was bored. so i decided to go through my quests to randomly complete them for fun. I found "ancient armory" quest.. I screamed: "OMG! THAT MUST BE THE QUEST THAT COULD GET ME THE INVINCIBLITY SUIT THINGY! I FOUND IT!!!!!!!" yes I didn't notice it until the end of the game so after I reached the ruin, I saw that I needed power cells to repair the fuse things, and idk I had one power cell that I must've collected a long time ago without knowing what it was.🤷♀️ so I went looking for them, didn't find them. bc I'm bad at finding stuff at games.. that's like the worst! ( I'm bad at everything like usual ) and luckily I found this video. I was like: "but why does the video say I need 5 when the game says collect 2?" I didn't even bother to watch the full vid and see what was wrong- **ignores it** so I finally collected the easy power cells and repaired the fuse things, ( sorry I keep saying fuse things bc idk the plural of fuse and I dont think it's fuses and I don't wanna search it on Google bc Google might not know what I mean!- ) and when I turned them all to the right direction after 3hrs of trying to find the pattern, I shouted (again) "OMGGGGGGGG I DID IT!!!!!" **enters door** "I REALLY DID IT!!!!!!!! THE OUTFIT! NOW I CAN BE INVINCIB--" then aloy said that the outfit was secured, and that's when I had a heart attack looking everywhere to find some sort of button to get the outfit. lol so yeah I eventually found the second room of fuse things. In All-Mother ruin, if you see the door closed at the room of power cell, please see the vent on the left of the door. There is a secret channel to enter the room. I got stuck at this for a while 😂
One of the best guides I have seen and the time stamps are such a blessing if trying to figure out which ones you have gotten or not. Also, the re-entry...not something everyone else thinks about doing, but was much appreciated!

I really dislike games adding interesting/unique unlockables and then setting them to be only obtainable at the end of the game, burns trying to do a 100% completion on the first run-through. I’m loving the game so far and wanted to get this unlocked the moment I found it, guess I’m just gonna have to burn through the game first time around to unlock it, then slow down for the second play through
Hi guys, im at my last search of powercell wich is the one from Gaia In my map it’s still all covered with clouds,ive made it till the first fire save. From there on i need to go up in the mountains and slay some machines Ive haven’t done that yet, but will the powercell be there ?

I even can't reach the camp doesn't let climb the rocks to get to 2nd cell but u get 1 cell if u do the story like the one u use to corrupt the robots to ride them is it the mother's camp one? Maybe that's why I can't get itt 😂

I actually grabbed them naturally by progressing through the story and I really wanted that armor but I was missing like 1 or 2 cores and I didn't know which ones was I missing. So here I am at this guide in frustration. 😝 thank you so much

Isn’t Gaia Prime also where a giant bird confronts you before you can proceed to the final power cell? A small cutscene of the bird appears before fight.

if you go there mounted in a machine the mother's watch gate glitches and its opened
it says MOUNT CAN'T ENTER THIS LOCATION
it's like a invisible wall no letting me enter
all you need is finish the game, and the gate will reopen!

I really dislike games adding interesting/unique unlockables and then setting them to be only obtainable at the end of the game, burns trying to do a 100% completion on the first run-through.
I’m loving the game so far and wanted to get this unlocked the moment I found it, guess I’m just gonna have to burn through the game first time around to unlock it, then slow down for the second play through

In my map it’s still all covered with clouds,ive made it till the first fire save.
From there on i need to go up in the mountains and slay some machines

2021 and this was right on time. Got the 2 right before the Makers End mission then grabbed the 4th on grave hoard. Now all I need is the last one.
First we need to complete the mission to enter the grave hoard right ? The path is closed with the spikes thing

I even can't reach the camp doesn't let climb the rocks to get to 2nd cell but u get 1 cell if u do the story like the one u use to corrupt the robots to ride them is it the mother's camp one? Maybe that's why I can't get itt 😂

guys listen carefully those who havent completed the moutain mission the ladder wont be available for u. but YES THERE IS A WAY.. ALL U GUYS GOTTA DO IS GO NEAR THE WALL. CROUCH WHILE LOOKING UP AND KEEP JUMPING. AND U WILL REACH UPP 100 PERCENT WORKS TRY IT.. THANK NE LATER. 😎

Isn’t Gaia Prime also where a giant bird confronts you before you can proceed to the final power cell? A small cutscene of the bird appears before fight.
