Yeah, Norris was in really good shape. I suspect that hunger brought on listlessness and lethargy. I had a rescue like that once. I knew I had a problem first when the kitten didn't either come towards me or run away. Whatever the Hope or Threat, it isn't worth the energy anymore. and that kitten was small enough that it might not have been weaned yet, but Lily has seen everything. This one was easy. Norris really lucked out. I do wonder whether Lilly is finding anybody an Forever Homes. I know she had an extra house built just for her Rescue Cats, but if it is always IN and no OUTS, except when a cat dies after 15 or 20 years, well, she'll eventually have too many cats to manage. Norris would make a great Pet.
@@leovolont I worry that all those kitties will become too much of a financial burden for Dear Lily. I cannot donate very much to her and the kitties, but I hope the couple of dollars I can send, and maybe combined with a couple of dollars others can send it will help.

My heart stings were tugged when he was sitting in front of the hanging toys and he didn't know how to play. You chose a good name for him, he has the same color hair as the actor Chuck Norris. But now a curious kitten, enjoying the new home he has, though his bigger cousin definitely is playing a little rough with him for now. But a full tummy and a warm spot to sleep, bliss.

Lily to the rescue, once again. What a gorgeous kitten with beautiful markings. I noticed that you take off your shoes before entering the house. I learned this is what you do, when I lived in Hawaii. It is tradition and good manners to do this before entering anyone's house. This is how you can obtain and maintain impeccably clean floors. When I moved back to the states, I kept that tradition to this very day 37 years later. Thanks for sharing this successful rescue of a stray kitten.

When you live in the northern states, you do that too. No one wants the muck from dirty snow, rain, etc. being tracked in the house.
