I heard Billings doesn't want 2.0 since it's one of the only/the only full animatronic show for a while. They also don't have a tech, but the General Manager actually does a brilliant job on keeping them working when they have the time to work on the show. Nice video!

One more thing I forgot. At some locations they use to turn Dukes drumhead inside out! One location was Wilmington NC. That’s the only one I can remember but they did do that at a few of them.
Wow, nice that you got to see some 3-Stages. Also i love the games they have in Billings. There used to be more of the Swirls in Different colors but there's not a lot of the Orange ones, which originated on the 3-Stages

These stages are both great! It'll honestly suck if they're gone at any point I'd personally recommend trying to save as much as possible to preserve as they are history! If you do, then I wish u the best of luck with saving em! :]
If you are ever in the Pittsburgh area again you gotta check out their CEC. It has a unique bot, it's a 32m with a 16m head. Warren, OH is also really great and is about an hour and a half from Pittsburgh. It's a 32m Beta that hasn't remodeled since they opened. (They updated the exterior though the interior is the same)

You may have noticed West Des Moines Iowa was missing the stage left and right curtains. That’s because it was sent to Darien IL’s location for their unique studio c beta on a 3 stage. And also, I heard Billings Montana is a franchise location. I could be wrong about this but franchise locations might have protection from 2.0 remodels and may potentially make it beyond the 2023 deadline. I heard a rumor that Billings doesn’t want to give up their 3 stage.
Cool you went to West Des Moines, it’s very good condition and one of my favorite 3 stages. Also you went to Billings Chuck E. Cheese it’s a very good store and cool stage
You should check out the CEC in Midland, TX. It’s an under filmed store and has the last Studio C Beta/Alpha mix stage. You better visit it soon since all Studio Cs will no longer be programmed on September 19th this year.

Billings actually get their bots from a closed Showbiz to let you know as they're recycled. The location opened on 8/6/1984 (August 6, 1984). Billings is also Franchised as well. West Des Moines opened October 13, 1980.
The drum head on that stage is not one of a kind or two of a kind it actually is the original drum head that was at all of the locations. Because when the stages got concept unification this drum head replaced Dukes explosion drumhead on all the stages. I have nick names this drum head the “knock out” drum head because it looks the squiggles and stars above a cartoon characters head when they get injured in old cartoons. This drum head actually ended up at all locations and the road stage and the two stage and the one stage. Then some locations got a new drum head that looked more like dukes original drum head but the background was blue and the explosion was red. I saw this in Roanoke Virginia. After all of that they went back to Dukes explosion for everyone which was weird to go back. But now lots of locations just cut out plastic and put it in the drum head. Some use plastic from the ticket blaster! I guess kids much damage the originals and then they don’t have anything to replace it with so they make their own. But the one at Billings is still the original from right after concept unification which is very cool! I have been to Billings and does Moines. Fort Collins use to have this drum head before they closed and I went there too.
I love your videos! You should totally consider going to see Dreamfactory in Switzerland (if thats possible for you, it is very far from you), its an amazing museum of all sorts of entertainment things and magic and has lots of cool vintage pieces including the rockafire explosion!
As far as I know my local Chuck E. Cheese still has the Rockafire animatronics that were reskinned into the CEC characters (I’m from Omaha, Nebraska). It has the winking Chuck E above the stage and the miniature TV. It’s really cool to get a glimpse at what they looked like before concept unification.
I was going to stop to see that in Omaha but the site I follow with CeC show current status listed it as recently remodeled, is that not the case? Like is it still there?
@@SetsStreetsEats Not sure. The last time I’ve been there was 2 years ago for my nephew’s birthday birthday party. I was not aware that they remodeled the place.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the reason for the new show control system is because the cost of shipping out the show DVDs to every location with a stage was getting too costly, so to cut costs they are trying some new system that doesn't require shipping anything out to locations. I'm normally about games at CEC, but those animatronics were part of my childhood... R.I.P. CEC aka the old style of it!!!
