Ben your videos especially mock debrief helped me hugely in breakdown and understanding of the question requirement. In my view exam was not difficult but I could not manage time pressure situation. last question i was left with only 17 minutes then i used your short points method. wish me good luck :)
Thank you for taking the time to comment - I’m very pleased that my videos helped you! Hopefully you will have been able to pick up enough marks in that last question to secure a pass 🤞🤞🤞
For the business risks, you would always have to relate to and comment on the impact they will have on the financial statements, correct? Sorry for the rather silly question but why is business risk being tested in an audit exam paper in the first place?
the week 2 sitting is still pending and I guess the case studies do repeat. How are we discussing this before week 2 exam gets over ? someone please reply
Hi Ben thanks for the AAA exam tips especially on question 1.I feel my answer in number 3 was not up to standard. Are there any chances of passing given that I'm doubting my number 3 answer
You can pass AAA with a weaker answer to 1 of the questions.....as long as the other 2 answers are strong. Try not to stress about it, nothing more that you can do now. Please get in touch if you do need to re-sit, my WhatsApp number is +447968702318
Sir I watched your Mock Debrief M23, and it really helped to "bag those easy marks first". Q3 in my exam was a disaster I would say, because I never had seen a question like that before through my course. But that difficult part A was tested for 12 technical marks, rest of 8 technical marks in part B were the easiest in my entire exam. Thanks to you sir 🇵🇰

Business risks - discuss the impact on the company, rather than the financial statements. Eg ability to meet strategic goals, hit KPIs etc
Business risks are on the syllabus because something impacting the company….can lead to a misstatement in the financial statements

There’s no case study in AAA - are you referring to SBL?
The longer section A question in AAA does not repeat

I’m really pleased that my advice was helpful! The AAA exam always has tough parts…the key is to keep moving!
