Hello from Oregon! & Happy New Year! I enjoy watching your channel and how you are building your dream! I'm a retired electrician, so that's where my mind goes. It is concerning talking about sheet rock so soon in a project. Nothing like missing a wire or wanting to add something new after the sheet rock. A change of plans turns your new construction into a remodel :( Thank you!
It was great to get back on the sawmill. So cool to pick out a log, mill it into trim, stain it and get it up on for the garage door opening. Also pretty excited to get started on our electric! Hope you enjoy this video and had a Happy New Year! Here's to moving into this house in 2025! 😊
Happy new year sir. Nothing like some long overdue sawmill time. It's been a while. What a beautiful man cave to work in during the wet season. Yes, lots of details to work through. A family heirloom in the making. Be well and stay safe.
Trim boards look great; I look forward viewing the interior with the installation of interior walls. Congrats with surpassing 12k subscribers, seems like 5k subscribers occurred lat month.
Happy New Year. It is going to be prosperous for y’all as you keep getting closer to have the home closed in. Looks marvelous. I’m sure you know you have to run all the electrical before the dry wall. Love your place and work. Snow looks nice too.
Wonderring when you are going to put down subfloor upstairs. . It will add a lot of lateral strength to that diaphram. Also safety when istalling windows upstairs. I understand the priority of getting dried in.
at 8:34 are you using a torque wrench for setting your tension on your blade? if so what torque value are you using? I had asked woodland mills about using a torque wrench and they advised against using it..

Are you finding your trim boards stay straight and not warping since they are fresh cut?
All The Best For The Build in 2025
