    8:05-8:30 That grinding issue can be dissolved with some detent springs and by removing the clutch Delay valve. The detent springs are $40 and the CDV delete is free. Thanks for the install video with these though! I have these paired with their shifter base bushings as well!

      Thanks for the comment! I have done the CDV removal so definitely helped the most. Next may be master cylinder adjustment.

    Just bought these as mine are 16 years old and they are probably cheaper than OEM lmao. We'll see how the install goes

    Your way of removing those retainer c-clips was very smooth. I saw you pried against the donut-shaped metal cable housing thing... I was afraid of doing that, but it seems it's not a problem. Any other tips for getting them freed easily?

      Steve is not really posting or commenting on the channel anymore. I think what was in the video is it. Sorry I couldn’t help more.

    Did you do the shifter base acuity upgrade to aluminum? Doing cable bushings soon got sent a pigtail 🤯

    Hey i installed new shifter cable bushing on my 8th gen accord v6 and now I'm unable to shift into first and second and to the left of the neutral standstill. I was wondering if you knew what i could do to fix it.

      Have you went back and made sure its all hooked up properly? I mean I would just go back and restart more or less to find the issue because if you can't even move the gearshift left then im guessing one of the cables is not installed right. Maybe by where I take the pliers and lift the clip up? Lmk

    It's for longevity that bushing will out last the OEM

      Not only that, but the metal bushings flex less than rubber, so it's not as mushy feeling

      I'm honestly unsure. It might be the same part hopefully. I'd check out some forums or faqs. Sorry

    I been experiencing the shifter not going all that easy into first gear and not coming out easy out of reverse, the shift bushings are worn out, could this be the problem?

    • @CarsCouches
      @CarsCouches  Год назад

      How many miles do you have on the car? In either case this was a worthwhile upgrade if you currently are running stock.

    After 4 years with the acuity bushing it got loose and caused my cable to come loose and not go into gear..had bad wear on it...guess all the gear banging but still should of been stronger.

      Oof that sucks to hear, but whenever we drive a car rough things tend to break sooner or later and really there is only one way to drive these cars to not fall asleep.
