    That tree looks completely root bound. Did it do well after the transplant?

      no went into transplant shock then regrew decently but got cooked this summer even though I shade clothed it... I'm going to do a sad Winter update on my dying avocado and my dead mango tree, the two things I wanted to grow the most very depressing

      @@zengrow3098 Appreciate the honesty. Most RUclipsr's will say it did fabulous. Avo's are easier to adjust in the smaller 5 gallon containers and smaller size. I would try that. Also, you can paint on white chalk (grind it up) for sun exposure. You can reapply during the summer while it gets acclimated and all new growth will be hardened off.

      @@JB-uz2nw third time's the charm my Pinkerton is doing great the transplant went well the tree is from a reputable nursery and it wasn't root bound it is growing nicely and I set up stakes and a proper shade cloth for the summer going to make sure this one's going to make it. Thanks for the comment.

      @@JB-uz2nw that's exactly what I did I got a smaller Pinkerton staying away from the 15 gallon trees that have been sitting so long they're completely root bound and yes I have it painted
