It's amazing how complex engines and their supporting electronics have become, and that isn't even an especially modern or high tech motor. Compare it to that of the Romet. They both do the same thing. Glad you got it fixed.
@@TeamAteem My first car was a Wartburg. A small engine in a big engine bay. Three spark plugs on top of the engine with nothing impeding access. Vertical so you were unlikely to cross thread them. You could change them in under ten minutes.
I do know that on dodge magnum engines if one of the plugs come out and in hard it's an indication of a cracked head.. that being said Iv been driving mine with a cracked head for 200k
Couple of pointers , soak the broken bolts by wetting cotton wool or similar with penetrant oil, and leave on top of them over night. Warm the area around the nut with heat gun or similar ( watch that paint!) before turning out. Welding is great, IF you can limit the heat distortion and spatter on the painted surfaces!! Careful with the lift, as it puts the geometry of the suspension out, making the joints work harder + driveshaft angles
When you fit your new roof bolts, put some sealer under the brackets to stop the water ingress. I would source some Stainless steel bolts. Ebay perhaps. Good work on the glow plugs. They can be tricky if seized in. 👍
Glow Plugs fixed - Congratulation. The diesel injectors are more difficult. Check RUclips, how to fix broken bolts. And spray it, some minutes before remove it. Good luck for the spacers = lift kit. For anything it is the first time. So you must try, to get it. I hope you have a repair manual for your car and model. I got mine from a book seller in London via postal sending. And the german version from a book seller in germany. Both via Ebay. Greetings from germany.

Weld a nut onto the broken bolts. The heat will help loosen then and can be just spannered out then. Alot easier than having to drill and re-tap.
Yeah that is true, and should try before last resort of drilling
