EP 5 was a turning point for me. EP 1-5 were amazing, but 6-10 are just a masterpiece. I am not ashamed to say that I have seen EP 9 more than 5 times... I knew, before I even started watching, that Sweet Home was my kind of show, but I did not expect it to be that damn good.
Seriously guys, get ready to ride on an emotional roller coaster from now on. Shiiiiit is about to go down!

no 1-5 or smth were good and 10 was good but the rest was trash the webtoon was 20x better than the show they removed so many great things in the show from the webtoon

If you guys are still confused, the dead daughter got dragged inside by the gangster guy! After he threw the criminal outside. Remember, her mom went to him and begged him to get her daughter's body back.

@@Exotic6792 She is talking about the daycare center's daughter. Not the gangster's. The gangster tossed "Stiches'" body outside the building and dragged the daycare center's daughter's body and the military guy's body inside before he passed out.
the thing is i don't blame them on how confused they are, I was so lost, I even searched up the show to get answers off google and stuff so I can have it explained, lmao. but they catch on real quick, like I've seen all their drama reactions and they can almost always predict whats gonna happen, it's so cool, cuz I was so clueless while watching lmao. but literally my fav channel, they're hilarious and fun to watch!
This series is written in a interesting way, up untill almost the end they still don't give you all the story .
Plus it's hard for them to focus on subs, on the images and on the story line... even more when from time to time they distrct eachoter, all the subtile parts can be missed since the series does not tend to put things in your face. :)

@@mawmawa4116 that as well, because the webtoon was not finished yet, so they also changed some stuff and added new characters:) I watched the series a few times I like it a lot.
@@shamkand actually sweet home was done way before this came out But the author actually made a prequel with “Shotgun boy“ so o wonder if they’re going to mix that with season 2 🤔
ya'll be confusing ya'll selves more than the show's half the time😂yall have seen the flash monster before, he was the same monster that pushed Hyun-soo off the stairs. and no Hyun-soo hasn't fully turned yet. when his eyes go black the virus is trying to take over and turn Hyun-so fully turn into a monster. so even though he's not fully a monster due to the virus trying to take over he still has full monster abilities (healing, strength, etc.) but he's been able to hold out/fight back so far. he's not dead and he can still die guys haha.
If you are planning on doing another drama, you should do “strangers from hell” it’s a thriller and it’s so mind boggling and creepy.
OMG YESSSSS, i loved strangers from hell, so off-putting and disturbing fr. the psycho was hot tho.
I couldn't sleep because of this drama.

The lady turning into a baby was really sad :( The monsters are basically the manifestation of the person's strongest desire before turning....she just really missed her baby that she lost. TT Also, that ultra fast runner monster has a much better backstory in the Webtoon. He was a track and field athlete who basically wanted to be 1st place but he was always second place because of his friend. He ended up killing his friend around the time the monster outbreaks started but it is unclear if he killed his friend before the hallucinations and other symptoms started or after.
yep, when you became a monster you will turn into what you desire. since the main character wants to die in the beginning, it means he has no desire that's why he can't turn into monster. that's why the dark side of him telling him to surrender and showing him his past where everything is fucked up so he can blame his self for everything that happened to his life. but in the end hw turned into a blade buffed man lol HAHAHA

Netflix actors kinda plays in a lot of different netflix original shows so if you want to see new faces watch Flower Of Evil
As someone who read the webtoon I understand how confusing watching the drama with no context can be. Also the way they prolong explaining the backstory of each character only makes it even more difficult to grasp. I recommend reading the webtoon eventhough there are quite a bit of differences.
Side note- the authors also have another webtoon by the name Bastard (which the sister is seen reading in the drama) and that one is also a good one to read, really recommend 👍
Yesss! Omg I love the webtoon comic! I had finished a few months before the announcement of the show and I was so excited! Some of the differences did irk me a lil but for ppl watching without reading the comic, I can see how it’s still enjoyable cuz the show did very good! I can’t wait for S2!!!
are you guys planning on watching another drama after this one? if yes i highly recommend Mouse, Flower of Evil, The King of Pigs or One Ordinary Day
King of pigs is a really good one...I was hooked from start to finish

In some episodes at the beginning they suddenly show memories from the past, or they don't continue where the other ep ended, they do a "preview" with the same thing but from another character's perspective and they add more information that the viewer needs to be atentive to get :).

The dead body in the container at the beginning of the epi is the dead guy from the first episode who got drained by the tongue monster

The scene with the gangster beating the crap out of the child predator guy is mixed in with scenes from his (the ganster’s) past. The kid that the child predator harmed was not his own. But he’s seeing a guy from his past in the child predator if that makes any sense. It’ll become more clear beginning of next episode.
So in one of the past episodes when the firefighter lady was running from the spider monster she dropped her phone and we all heard/saw she got a phone call. The person calling was her fiancé whom is believed to be dead. Her dead fiancé we find out in this episode also is the blog writer known as crucru. This blog written by crucru was read both by Hyunsu (main guy) and Eunhyuk (the glasses guy who can kinda be an asshole at times.)The blog writer wrote about the symptoms and curse before it became widespread. So, hope that helps you understand a bit more. It’s hard to catch all the details in the first watch through!
You’re definitely catching onto the curse/desires part of the changing into monsters though! We will learn more about Hyunsu in later episodes as well so that’ll also help you somewhat understand his desire.
But here’s a list of what monsters have been present that I think have obvious desires:
Protein monster - obviously a meat head who wants a buff body
Fast Monster - to be fast?
Baby Monster - she wanted her baby back
Arms monster - he obviously has some trauma stemming back to the death of someone whom he couldn’t quite reach with his hand to save them
I hope through this you have started to notice that some monsters don’t always harm them. Or at least haven’t so far? (Baby monster didn’t and arm monster didn’t, plus Hyunsu hasn’t harmed anyone yet either.)
I love watching reaction videos because I love seeing different perspectives to the same content and the comments are always extremely helpful!
Initially, I was not excited about this show bc it looked cool but wasn't great and I couldn't figure out why, until I saw the comments. I've noticed we've been getting a lot of Intel either from people who read the webtoon or understand Korean so they don't need to pay attention to subs. But that's also my issue because that only shows that the storytelling/editing of the show is not great. It seems like they're rushing to get to the end while also expecting another season so many questions are left unanswered. I feel like this should've been 12 eps so they could take their time and tell the story better. There's so much going on that's not getting explained well or is being skipped over. I really hope they do better in the upcoming seasons. There's so many options out there now so it won't last long, especially since Netflix loves to randomly drop shows.
