A lot of people found this season boring but for me it was kinder a slow burn and build up for season3. It’s kinder a focus on how humans live with the circumstances of having monsters surrounding them definitely enjoyed this season and can’t wait to see your reactions on some episodes cause shit got hectic with each episode❤
So people forget that this is an adaptation of a webtoon, where things happen by chapter, then they ended the second season in the middle of the climax..

I like this season more than season 1. the plot is clear that S1, more emotional too
It’s clearly a builder for the s3 and it’s not boring at all. it’s always like that in every series or movies, we need a time for building a new plot
A lot of people didn't really love the middle section of this season, but I did. It focuses on a new group of people, but I think it returns to the S1 vibes of a tight, character driven plot instead of flashy fight scenes. I hope you guys will appreciate it like some of us did.

I really liked it as well. It felt like it's a bridge between what we are about to see in season 3
I definitely enjoyed this season. The build up was strong especially the last two episodes
But we needed more Hyun-su appearance tho 😭 it felt like he's just a side character even tho he's the main character of the show💀
@@wonuswife idk about you but i think watching Moving made me love side characters too because they got their own stories to tell maybe that's the reason i enjoyed this season 2
The most impressive thing about this series is Lee Jin-wook's acting. I've seen him act in many dramas before but he is especially phenomenal in Sweet Home season 1 & 2. He had so much presence in season 1 as a gangster eventhough he hardly spoke. And in season 2, he's so convincing as Ui-myeong that I don't even see him as Sang-wook anymore. Great actor.
I LOVE that someone is finally appreciating him. Not a lot of people do. Jin-Wook is extremely underrated and underappreciated. Everything I have ever watched him in has knocked my socks off. I prey more people pay attention to him. Again, thank you for showing your love of him. 😊

The filming of seasons 2 & 3 was needed because the Lead actor Song Kang will soon inlist and serve his Mandatory Military Service so he won't be available in the next almost 2 years, so i guess that's the reason why They filmed 2 & 3, and also the Guy with the Glasses in episode 1 their Leader is already inlisted he in the Air Force...

Soo that's why S3 is coming Early than expected, summer 2024?
And also I heard there will be S4 as well, is that right? If it is than S4 will be after song Kang discharged from military , right?
@sonaaa7464 yes, from what I heard My Demon and Sweet Home 3 were his last shows for the next 2 years. But I did not hear there will be Sweet Home 4, only heard the last of Sweet Home was season 3. Maybe they will do spin offs later....
Song Kang (Hyunsu) is an amazing actor too, although he is a "monster" here, this one is maybe his nicest character, he is usually such a player in his kdramas, hope you react to other kdramas with him too.

Everyone talking about season two being borning and then there’s me who thinks it’s 100 times better then the first season. Idk the plot just makes a lot more sense to me with this season and the character growth is a lot better. Sad we lost so many, but the new characters make up for it alot. Idk i just like this season more🤷🏾♀️
same! i read the webtoon too and i still really enjoyed this season and the new characters in it. i think it was just the new characters that i REALLY enjoyed and also i feel like it made the plot focus on how monsterization is on the worldview and expands on the "curse" itself. the only qualm i have is the amount of naked people i saw lmfao

Yes, it seems they filmed the 2nd and 3rd seasons together, possibly because the main character will start his military service, as he is soon turning 30.
I just finished the 2nd season two days ago, and it’s literally the best.

The producer of sweet home is honoring the complexity of the other neo human aside from MC. He has mental issues like split personality which it seems he gained it rather than was born with it like the author has intended but still shows the aspect of his charachter in a unique fashion. Also if you like sweet home then you will like ajin either anime or live action.

My favourite episodes are 7&8. Song Kang (Cha Hyunsu) is an incredible actor with a huge range. You'll see the quality of his acting is one of the best things in S2. While this season is not without flaws and it focuses a lot on new characters, it's really worth watching as a bridge to the bigger stuff happening in S3. It's expanding a lot on why the evolution has come and the personal struggles of the characters. Of course, the biggest question is WHO the real monster is and what being a monster or a human means. Because human doesn't equal good and monster doesn't equal evil.
Eun Yu and Cha Hyunsu are the gems of S2 and the growth of their bond is beautiful. I feel like you're really gonna enjoy the drama no matter what others say.
Btw, Song Kang plays in another Netflix hit that releases two episodes weekly and it's called "My Demon". It's SO good. You could give it a try, it's so enjoyable, there's action, there's fantasy, there's romance and mystery. Really hope you'd react to it too!!!

This season is more like a part 1 of a new season or a bridge between seasons 1 and 3, but I understood that there should be enough and concrete build up to expand their universe from one apartment to worldwide apocalypse problem. I look forward your great reactions to this season!
Oh my god I've been waiting for this!! Your reaction that I like the most is sweet home reaction. Season 2 is a build-up process for season 3 and it's a bit loose with a lot of new characters, but it's still really fun!! And I'm glad to see you guys finally notice that moving's Heesoo is out in Sweet Home 1 🤣🤣
Alot of people was disappointed in this season and they're not wrong. From the unnecessary deaths for "shock" value to the bland storyline. Also, the introduction to new characters who i just don't care about.
yeah, we all waited 2 years just for them to kill off all the main characters is so disappointing and lazy for sure. And everyone wants to make excuses and say “it’s the build up for season 3”. nahh, just admit this season was not that good.

There's simply no plot armor, which is better honestly than characters getting in situations where they obviously should have died but miraculously survived 5 times an episode. Not everyone can survive in an post apocalyptic world, especially a big group of people

The cut for the seasons for drama is weird. I got more convinced of this when i got to ep 3. They should have just done an anime cut and did 2 seasons with 13 eps each. Haha still works tho. This season is fireeee. XD

sorry for the late reply but yes, S3 IS coming so soon since everything is already filmed. As for season 4 I have absolutely no idea, but if there is one, either song Kang isn't gonna be in it, or it's gonna come out extremely late given the fact that Song Kang is gonna be done with his enlistment around 2025. Add the whole filming and editing process it could take years for it to come out
this season is awesome for me. i'm a little mad because can't wait to see what happen next 😂

I really hope you guys watch a drama that revolves around crimes and investigation. I think you have never watched a Kdrama of this kind before. If you decide to watch this type of drama, I recommend you to watch Voice, Beyond Evil, and Through the Darkness. They are the best ever🔥
middle of the season felt kind of weird/off since there way more characters added to the story and I was really lost but it was worth getting through to ep 7 and 8, they were great! Cant wait for season 3- this season is definitely a build up towards that
What made season 1 great was the in-depth psychological exploration of those characters which tied coheresively with the overarching plot. In contrast, in this season there are just... new characters, boring and lack of multidimentionality, together with its confusing plotline. On top of that, the setting feels like cheap residiential evil trope; and many shots are just some characters' face while they walk. So I geniunely don't get why people who liked the first season enjoy this season.

yup i also feel like this season does seem like a movie & im only 3 eps in, i do feel like this is gonna be a slower season, setting up something for S3
- also idk if they ever said it in the show, but monsterization take shape in things that they desired most/was 'obsessed' with , so that clothes monster with many hands prolly was someone obsessed with buying clothes or smthn - this was told in the webtoon but i dont remember if they ever mentioned it in S1
- so from the webtoon, you can also understand hyunsoo's monster form (it was based on the movie/game character that he was a big fan of & wanted to see its movie before he k*lls himself, in the show they omitted all of those character references, prolly cz it might complicate the story more ?)

The disappointment for me with this season was how little Song Kang was in it as well as not enough character building for new characters. It felt the season was way too short, so they didn’t have that time to build the characters for you to love. Everything went so fast, it felt like we were skipping things. But it definitely had massive scenes that were incredible.

This season was BAD.
I think S2 is not good because 1. the cgi is not good and season 1 is better 2. the storyline is repeated, don't know where the plot is going, so confused
3. There are lots of new exhibitions and the focus is only on new exhibitions. 4. Songkang's scane are just a bit like shit
To be honest, this season is boring and disappointing.
Season 2 and 3 were made together at once, and season 2 is the build-up process for season 3.
Maybe that's why this season is boring
