Beginner's Guide to Elden Ring Episode 1: Understanding Stats, Attributes, & Damage Output

With the #eldenring DLC, #shadowoftheerdtree coming out in June, some players may be picking up the game for the first time. If you're a new player or even a veteran who wants a refresher, this may be the series for you. I'm planning on covering everything you need to know to enjoy and excel at this awesome game, so be sure to check back in from time to time! In episode 1, I'll be covering that confusing set of attribute categories and numbers you see when you create your character or check out the status and inventory pages in the menu during the game. We're focusing today primarily on damage output, and next time we'll deal with all the numbers that have to do with defense.
