Since Sting doesn't want play together , Andy is doing his own will playing and putting together two great Brazilians musicians to accompany him as a band. I am The Police fan but , I have to tell they are representing the Police legacy fantastically . By the way I am Brazilian as well.
I love that these guys are giving Andy an outlet for the popular guitar riffs he has delivered via Police. These days, performance is how musicians earn money. It's a grind, but I'm glad people are loving this.
Andy Summers needs to bring "food to the table" of his family ..he recruited a brazilian bass player and singer and another brazilian drummer..to keep working..but to this days the only good "The police band "was with Sting..
@mirodinizdiniz232 1 second ago Everyone knows that, brother, no one is going to take Sting's place, you can rest assured that there was no musician there at the time to do this cover. Brazilians are awesome, they play and sing a lot, send Sting to sing a bossa nova in Portuguese with a band from his country to see what happens.
Actually, Summers don't need to get money, only the royalties for Every Breath You Take are more than enough for him. A fact: the tickets are not expensive and they play in small theatres.
@@Antonivs Yeah, I'm thinking Andy's not hurting for cash. I just saw his solo "Cracked Lens" show Saturday night. A few hundred people in a local theater. Great intimate show. I think he'd prefer to be out performing, than sitting home.
Andy is such a good musician. A pro’s pro. Catch him if you are lucky to be near one of his concerts.
Andy Summers finally gets to be the main man in the Police. And these two guys are very talented in their own right. Good musicians! I like it!
