Yeah man...MGS games are one of the unique games that made me drop tears...Big Boss death at MGS4 and his reconcilliation with Solid with Father and Son at the background,Solid Snake inevitable death after MGS4 events, the Phantom Pain from Kaz,"Big Boss",the truth about Stranglelove death, and also "Big Boss" hallucinations and his feeling of guilt for not being able to save Paz. Peace Day never came... My favorite series forever.Kojima, thank you.
That, and "say...peace" made me cry. Especially, what with the implied deeper meaning, from the original Japanese. It'd, probably, translate to "communicate/spread peace" .
I this game brought me more tears than any other movie or series or game I ever seen. I cant explain but its perfect, the music or the graphics... just walking around in angola while raining I fell alone and some pain inside I cant ever really understand. Is in his voice, Ocelot's and Miller's voice as well, some pain not just dialogue... forever more than just a game. Thank you Kojima.
Same here, same here. Maybe Im alone with this, but its my fav. MGS and one of my fav games. Its the gameplay, the music and maybe the fact that Venoms story wasnt that important. An unimportant character that cared way to much for his people (medic at heart) and in the end died because he was tired, because he couldnt cope with the death of a young girl, the love of his live and he men that he couldnt save.
I think this hits harder than most stories because it's so somber. You feel completely alone during this with no hopes of anyone fully understanding what you just experienced.
After listening to the final tape I couldn't stop crying......the emotions were so strong. Seeing Paz pull out the C4 from her stomach in her final scene........I couldn't bare to watch it because I knew I would start to cry 😢😢😢.

The rare type of games that makes you have very strong feelings.
You're right, this game is subtle and criptic, and makes you feel things you would feel in real life. The other games were more over top while this one actually felt more personal. Off-topic; dude you look like an actor wow.

Sergio Esteban Fritz Rieloff lol, that’s the guy who played James Bond
When i play the mission "light even in death" i can't pull the trigger, every time i press r1 was a torture, they are my family i play this game when i was in a bad moment in my life so, kill my diamond dogs, my comrades, that breaks me, in the final of the mission i truly truly cry when the last of the rescue team was infected to, the only game that makes me cry like a baby. Sorry for not the best English.
I was spoiled for what was going to happen, I expected it eventually, but when I gave Paz the last two memories I had and then I saw the memory of the butterfly outside the room a tear came out, and although I already knew that was going to happen i hadn't seen the cinematic. It was very sad, and the parallelism of the butterfly with MGS3, Venom Snake caught her because he overcame the trauma of the accident, of Paz's death
Hey Sony its 2020... I want you to buy back the MGS franchise from the cocky sucker Konami so that Kojima can complete the whole saga. Kojima is 60 yrs old right now, he nees to fullfil his destiny as a father of a completed series of MGS before he retire.
If you haven’t already, you really should to be honest I would start with MGSV as your first game too, I know it seems a little weird to start with the last game released, but trust me just because of how the game is, I honestly think you would be playing it one of the main ways it’s intended to be played Otherwise, start with the original MGS on the PS1, and I promise you’ll be in for one of the most emotional rides you’ve ever been on. It will always, always be a part of your heart.
@@alexd2316 I bought one of them but have not played it yet. I kind of forgot about it and have been trying to find something else to play, so I might download it when I get home
Bejita666 Ah okay. Well basically Venom as the medic regrets not finding the second bomb, so he hallucinates that he did find the second bomb and that he saved Paz. He can't accept the truth so he's created a fantasy. Yeah the story in this one seemed a little bit all over the place. Gameplay is absolutely fantastic though.

My takeaway from the Paz and Quiet stories-
There's never going to be any peace or quiet around here.
Reminds me of Silent Hill 2, I don't know why...
Sweet heart , Kojima is behind . MGs . also Silent Hill .

All of it was a hallucination, even the room that Paz was in was a hallucination.
Really ?
I heard something like that, but was confused bc of that bomb removing scene
