- hi, in this video Cuphead from the video game "Cuphead" decided to beat Cuphead without moving (in Cuphead).
now, as for the reason why he decided to do that, i don't know. maybe he bought some brand new shoes and didn't want to tear them by walking, so he decided to never walk again in his life. (his shoes still look brand new though, so i guess it worked in a way)

Whether you are casual player or speedrunner for life, this freaking dragon is gonna kick your ass. It's like a universal skill check in any challenge at this point
Unless you have Charge and Lobber, and/or are playing on Expert Mode (the clouds are easier to deal with)

@@splurg6124he's one of those bosses that doesn't take a lot of skill to mechanically execute, but if you don't recognize the "tricks" then you're going to have a tough time. Mainly his second phase, which is very hard if you're trying to dodge the flames based off visual cues but nearly trivial once you realize you should be using the sound cues instead.
The two candies you were confused about were a piece of candy corn and a jawbreaker, respectively.
Candy corn has a waxy texture and supposedly tastes like honey, sugar, butter, and vanilla. People either love it or hate it, no in-between.
Jawbreakers (sometimes called Gobstoppers) are balls made of layers of different-colored hard candy that slowly dissolve in your mouth. Kind of like a sucker/lollypop without a stick. Sometimes the layers have different flavors, too!

Some "fun-fact":
- in france jawbreakers were officially named "mamouth balls" ("couilles de mammouth") but the name got censored some years ago.
- in most countries jawbreakers now have a stick, to avoid swallowing them by accident.
- Candy corn is a north American tradition linked to Helloween.

the 2nd miniboss in baroness's fight was a candy corn, essentially just an incredibly old sugar and butter confection in the us, really cheap and polarising. 3rd was a gumball/jawbreaker/gobstopper just a big ball of sugar originating from the uk

Great vid. Just one thing, the hitbox of the airplane does not disappear when changing size, you became invincible because you are using the smoke bomb, which gives you i-frames during the transformation.

@@Pussmister I can get not liking the gameplay/boss rush element, but who wouldn’t like the design of cuphead? The old cartoony style it goes for is honestly some of my favorite designs in any video game.

Cuphead sure is a fun game, but yeah it can also be a test of nerves sometimes (especially the dragon (although if you do end up playing cuphead someday, I really recommend using the Lobber for the dragon, it made the fight so much easier (also the smoke dash makes the whole game a lot easier too (I think I like parentheses a bit too much))))

I imagine, in-universe, either Cuphead is begging the unknown entity puppeteering him to grant back his free will to relieve him of his unwilling pain and torture for a reason unknown to him, OR he asked Mugman “hey do you dare me to collect all the contracts without moving?” And even though Mugman said “no” he went ahead and did it anyways

It's a real shame this video didn't do as well as your others, the quality is really high and I love your unique style. The amount of subs you have do not match your output man. It might feel a bit cheap, but I think you should start asking for engagement at some point in your video. People wouldn't do it if it didn't work. You put a lot of time into these videos you deserve more!

actually, the "shrink invisibility frames" you were talking about at 8:20 don't exist, but rather that was your smoke bomb. smoke bomb actually does work in plane levels, but yeah, the timing is super precise
Yup, it's wrote on screen at the bottom if you pause (at the moment of recording the audio I didn't know about it since I've always played with the cloud dash, but I realized during video editing that the big cloud on the screen after a shrink probably meant it was the smoke dash, so I left a little message at the bottom of the screen)

Yo mate, just so you know, the only reason you were ever able to mini plane through objects was smoke bomb. Certain charms interact with the plane, ans smoke is one of them. It gives you a very small amount of i frames when swapping to mini plane! Anyway, great video, and good luck on future content.

I don’t understand why Roundabout was so bs for you? It’s essentially just a higher damage peashooter
The range it has when looking forward forces you to shoot backwards a lot of the time, and with how uncomfortable controlling the character was already, getting used to always trying to look in the other direction was too inconvenient.
I thought it would help at first for the last dragon phase, but it ended up making me accidentally break fireballs a LOT, because of the little extra time the Roundabout takes to boomerang back towards the boss, making it hard to control when to stop to avoid the fireballs. Also, it turns out that you can't hit the dragon when shooting from the top layer of clouds.
So even if it has a 31.875DPS instead of the Peashooter's 30DPS, it barely felt any better to use against the dragon.
And just after seeing that the Roundabout wasn't as good as I thought for this, I remembered that the Lobber was really really good against the dragon, with the perfect shooting angle to avoid breaking the fireballs, hitting the boss even on the top layer of clouds, and a DPS of 33.14, so I prefered going for that.
Overall, I don't think the Roundabout is that bad of a weapon, but for the context of this challenge I didn't like using it, and against the dragon specifically (which was the only really problematic boss), the Lobber was just infinitely better.

I know it's too late for this advice but the onion you don't need to attack it at all people think you have to but no you can just not move at all and it won't attack you and you skip its phase completely

Honestly I found the Roundabout to be very disappointing, I thought it would be pretty useful in this challenge but I ended up preferring other weapons no matter the scenario.

100% sure, the idea for this video came from watching the No Jumping challenge from Sample, and I thought "hey let's try without moving", I had never heard of Chickenninja42's video before.
Now that I checked his video (it was great btw), despite doing the same challenge, we have some key differences in the rules. He did not allow dashing, but he allowed playing on a finished file with every weapon and charm unlocked, while I did the opposite, allowing dashes but having to start on a fresh file, so both videos offer a different experience.
