Wonderwall is an outstanding song on its own but Liam in his prime at that exact point in time was just the perfect guy to do it. Nobody could have done this song more justice. His voice is just perfect in this one.
Although it didn't last long, when this guys voice was at its best it really was untouchable. One of the best rock n roll vocals of all time. You can hate Oasis, but you're just a bit weird if you can't at least acknowledge this.
