    Does the order of things to watch matter?
    To put on order your tips I will start with unscrewing the oil screw at the bottom. If oil is milky, do you either disregard this engine or keep watching more things after you find a good lower unit?

      @@josemariatrueba4568 Merry Christmas buddy! Yes have to evaluate all then estimate cost for each repair and compare the cost. If the value of the motor 100% working and all maintenance done is $5k and a replacement lower is $500 then knock that off the cost.
