      Yes the price was a bit much for me...I think it's just common sense to use this,-no metal utensils and no sudden change in temperature...I appreciate any tip's

    Nice video! I wasn't too thrilled with my Copper Chef on my NuWave induction cooktop, but after seeing your video I'll give it another try. Also, I'm glad to see you too shop at Aldi!! Yep, I recognized the labels and I am glad to know that you are what they call a 'savvy shopper' as I am!!!

    i just ordered the xl pan it's 11 inch and casserole one has 2 short handles and a press for bergers ,bacon . got off qvc . great deal great pans.

    Rick, this is a most enticing, meaty, cheesy lasagna I've ever seen! Your Copper Chef is the perfect vessel! I was drooling half way through! What a perfect meal! I'm sorry to hear of your loss! I don't know what relationship Matthew was to you but I am very sorry my friend! He was way too young.

    does that ever look fabulous! my son would be drooling if he watched this video. he loves a good meaty lasagna, and I never make it. I keep thinking I'll order the pan after each of your videos. I like the size and shape more than anything. Your Matthew was a year younger than I am. I can't think of a better way to honour the life of a loved one than how you just did. Because Matthew is a beloved family member, and nothing brings family together more than a good meal! Over the upcoming years, many thousands of people, or very possibly more, will look up copper pot or lasagna youtube recipes....and they will read out his full name. Very special, Rick. I hope you and your family are doing ok, sitting around the table, breaking bread, and smiling while talking about Matthew.

    Think about the memories and good times you and your family has had with him. Don't be sad, celebrate his life and he would probably want you guys to rather than finding it hard to cope and sadness. Also, he has gone for the moment but you guys will be reunited along with other family members when the time comes.

    You can soften the noodles under the hot tap and then cut to size.

    I'm from Australia and just wondering is hamburger the mince you have there ? Here we just call a burger with like the works on it a hamburger or burger ,we don't use terms like 50/50 meat ,etc just have lean or premium mince and mince is what you call ground meat over there so different lol

    The more reviews I watch, the more I'm seeing that even not-so-great reviews always have at least a couple good things said about this pot. But I'm really rooting for it, so I'm thinking I'm just wanting this product to be good. I'm also noticing that the good reviews are from people who seem very experienced in the kitchen and know proper upkeep for cookware as well as respecting the limitations of a pot or pan to ensure its longevity. While the consensus seems to be rather positive, it seems to be pointing toward a little overpriced. If I can find one for around $40 or under, I'd go for it. I love cooking and baking and I'd love to put this pot to a few tests with some dishes and desserts i have in mind, and find dishes made with this that aren't in the cookbook.

    Does red copper require or state to season pan?? i started with the Green pan and its says to season it with oil, later found that it HAS to be a certan oil ! ! It did not last long ...SO now have the Gotham steel pan and no were does it say to season and now about 12 uses the eggs are sticking !!! PLEASE HELP

      Yes it does say to season it in the instructions! It also says not to use cooking spray, olive oil, or metal utensils

    actually,..I think I prefer to use a more fatty hamburger because it tends to be more juicy vice the 93%, that tends to be course, dry, and a litte gamey tasting..

    This is sort of a nit picky comment so I apologize before hand if I seem ignorant but it's just a suggestion...The plate you chose to demonstrate has so many colors and patterns it sort of distracts from the actual food itself. If you would used a plain small white plate the colors and textures of the lasagna would have shown up more vividly...just saying. Thanks for the instruction Just received my Copper Chef this week so I'm video trolling tonight.

    Ever hear of an " Pancake Breakfast Pizza," ?
    Mix up your choice of Pancake mix, [ I use the instant water mix,] I get from S.A.M.'S CLUB, and add 3 eggs, 2Oz. coconut oil, blend together and add; Sausage [crumbled], your choice of cheese, [whatever amount you choose], blend all together or not[ you can use the mix as a topping] then bake for 10 min, or until Golden brown & Serve.
