The UCONN fans may not like hearing this, but Kaitlyn is an upgrade from Nika Muhl. KC is a better offensive player with a higher basketball IQ than NM. Also, KC brings the same toughness and leadership that Nika has shown over the past few years. The opponents will always focus on PB, and KC will be the X factor in the upcoming season.
@@LockedOnUConn If she is at all? Are you blind? Weren't you the one who covered KC skills and strengths? KC is an upgrade because Nika despite all the assists, she is a turnover prone and plays a 5th grader in a crucial moment.
Coach can split time evenly and UConn can play KK and Chen. That way we dont have to worry if one or the other is in foul trouble. Maybe start KK and Ashlyn and Paige and Jana and Sarah until Azzi is healthy, and bring Kaitlyn off the bench quickly.
Mark, sitting out here, as I am, close to the white wall that surrounds our flat earth*, I absorb every bit of news I can about my favourite team, the UConn women. As fate would have it I watched a half hour highlight video on the UConn vs Princeton match last night. On the bench were Ice, Azzi, Paige, and Dorka with her broken thumb. The team did well until Nika got knocked over and whacked her head on the floor late in the game, and didn't take the floor again. Princeton's full court press completely discombobulated them and the end was very close. Kaitlyn Chen was a standout for Princeton. Don't forget where the Princeton coach came from, and she has a lot of similarities to Geno in her coaching. I'm expecting Kaitlyn to fit in very quickly. If you follow The Boneyard there are links to practice videos, an interview with her (and other players) after practice, and detailed reports from Boneyarders who attended practice and a coaching clinic. * For those with a Sense of Humour Impairment, that's a JOKE! 😂🌏🏀
I’m constantly baffled why people care what I’m wearing when it 99 pct UConn gear.. but I’ll get you a T-shirt of Your choice if you even know the school that is. Cause it’s not a school UConn competes with

Just my two cents, since you brought it up. I grew up 20 minutes from Storrs and have lived in multiple areas of NJ. New Haven style pizza was only available in the area at Frank Pepe, which pales in comparison to 90% of the pizza I've had in NJ. Also, most pizza in CT isn't as good as Frank Pepe. I don't think one can reasonably argue that CT pizza is better than NJ pizza.
Omg, this is where I vehemently disagree. Meriden, Little Rendevous is better than any NJ pizza I've ever had, then there's Sally's Apizza, Frank Pepe's is good and great in the game, but Modern Apizza and Sallys blows it away as well as NJ, then there are Zuppardis among others. I lived in New Haven from 2007-2011 before I moved to NC to pursue a job, so trust me when I tell you, New Haven alone carries the state of CT over NJ, and there are a ton of Hidden gems throughout the great state.
I think that this UCONN has the ability to run, and they should!
Solid in depth analysis. Looks like she can be a solid contributor with the UCONN system

Why wouldn’t they want to hear it?
UConn has had good results, with recent transfers
Because Nika is beloved by many UCONN fans and holds the assist record!
Why can’t we love Nika and be excited about potential upgrade? If she is at all?

Thanks for the explanation.
You're welcome!
A 12th title for Geno on the horizon, perhaps?
Don't rule out KK Arnold. Really depends on how Geno divides minutes. Also I think PB really likes KK.

Whats an Aggie t-shirt doing on a UCONN podcast.
I’m constantly baffled why people care what I’m wearing when it 99 pct UConn gear.. but I’ll get you a T-shirt of

UConn was founded as Storrs Agricultural College, so "Aggies" is relevant in that regard.
@@8avexp ok well this is an HBCU vintage 1999 t-shirt.. it’s just a t-shirt my friend. Don’t think too
Much on that
@@LockedOnUConn No biggie. There is some relevance, though.
For tomorrow’s video the J is not silent in Jana’s name
I’ve heard it both was but ill take your word for it
Listen to Geno's recent media availability. I'm pretty sure he says it with a "y" sound. He should know how to say her name.
@@The_triple_fool they call Ayanna “Yanna” but Jana is Jana

Honestly we only need to hear from Geno and the players.
What’s that in reference to?
Just a guy sitting in front of a microphone? No video of the player? No images? I guess I'm just too old to know how these things work.
Yup, let me help you. It’s a podcast.. I could use video but they’d be pulled because we don’t own the copyright…
If you’re old, then downloading the audio version would be better. That way it’s no different than radio..
