corepad made a new skate lineup? theres been so many mice releasing recently i didnt spot that, especially since i would honestly never expect corepads to release new skates
@@thepsychicflame i guess... though these seem to be something way different, being textured instead of extra-smooth; with that said, you made a good point that it is most likely due to competition
I have not tried those grips but the new Corepad Rubber grips are waay better then BT.Ls. Way more grippy and comfortable. Buy the ones for the Pulsar because I think theyre the biggest or whatever fits closest to what youre going to put them on and do a review because they are amazing. Grips can take a bit to get used to but especially when theyre this good stability becomes way less of an issue. I rate Also, you couldnt just wipe those clean I presume?
Vouch. I picked the Corepad Soft grips for my black RVU and in the meanwhile ordered 6 packs of BT.L's for variety of mice. Since i have 2 RVUs anyways, i started off by putting BT.L's on my second RVU for comparison and to my surprise they were nothing like i've read. Barely tacky, almost like Razer's stock rubber sides that are incredibly slippery for me so all i am left with is "fancy design" and 5 pairs of BTL grips i have no plan to use. They still *somewhat* do the job but GPX , Roccat mice , XM1 all have such good coatings that i see no point of using. They simply does not work all that well if you have oily/sweaty hands.
Whilst I agree that Corepads V2 grips are better than BT.L. Lizard Skins Durasoft Polymer Hockey Grip Tape - 0.5 mm is still far superior/Goated interms of grips.
For the ghost grips, the side that has the WHITE peel off is for your fingers and the side that has the CLEAR peel off goes on the mouse. The side with the clear peel off is definitely more sticky than the other, I'm not sure if you've been doing it backwards or not.
Might have to snag those skates, but definitely sticking with my BT.L Grips (been loving those and the designs). Do want to get some of the glass skates, that will really come down to when LGG or Superglides become available
Oh shit I forgot Boardzy do you know how these will work with the Skypad 3.0 XL? I just picked up the yuki aim copy for the design and I'm honestly scared I just paid $140 for a wallpaper.
There is a review on youtube made by 2 guys, in the video they also mention skypad 3.0, they said it was too fast for them but that might be your thing. I've also seen someone complaining about airs wearing down fast on skypad. But you shouldn't worry, it's cheaper replacing 10$ feets than the mousepad, skypad 3.0 seems like a really good pad, either way you didn't waste your money.
I got the skates. Took a second to get used to how much faster the skates were but glides amazing. Yes, they are scratchy and rough af on texture pad. Also super hard compared to tiger skates.
@@boardzy I think it's pretty cool since it is different (maybe last longer.) Plus the "roughness" is something that doesn't get noticed while in use unless you got debree on the pad.
I like the feel of the Air much more. I loved the feel of my table and the feedback it had back in the days. The only problem was, the wrist sticked to the table like shit. That's why i don't use hardpads also. The high friction of the skates create a very similar feel even on soft pads. Best skates ever in my opinion
The second i put these mouse feet on it was like transcending reality. i did not realize how bad the stock skates on my gpx were until i tried these on my hien 😪
That's a pretty extreme amount of friction, do you think it's possible that can damage an expensive pad like an artisan, even if not immediately more-so over time?
I don't think so, those bumps aren't high and are very smooth by the looks of it, of anything, it might increase mousepads lifespan as it has less contact. But we'll see, I ordered corepad airs for my GPW
Yo bro would u reccomend them on cloth mousepad ?(steelseries prism qck xl) i have tiger ice now , if not what mousepad u can reccomend ? For playing fps games
hey I bought an artisan hien and some corepads, do you think it's gonna be hard to adjust from a hyperx fury s? (been using this for like 3-4 years now)
I am really enjoying my Corepads Air skates, so much that I have delayed in installing my LGG glass skates to replace them. How are your glass skates holding up on the mice you put them on? A lot of people are reporting them really muddying up and requiring a lot of upkeep in the way of constant cleaning of pads/feet... Also have you broken in the Corepads Airs? Any difference there? Appreciate your continued content and information, I have made lots of purchases with your code!
The LGG glass skates are pretty controlled out of the box I haven’t experienced any slowdown with them. Pulsar definitely change over time with an initial break in, I haven’t had the massive slowdown people report over time but I do think they slow down a bit with humidity on cloth pads. and yeah the airs get a bit less scratchy when they break in, no point in switching off them if you enjoy them. Appreciate the code usages/support!
can you do a video on corepad control the opposite idea of corepad air I got some for my 3 starlight 12s 2 medium 1 small and I like them over heavily used tiger ice on my medium phantom.
I have corepad skatez. I want to upgrade, but it’s so many options and I don’t know what to use. I usually main the Artisan Hien xSoft mousepad. Around a 34cm/360, but have been trying 40-45. Trying to find my sweet spot. Any options here? Should I change it to another skate? Or keep the corepadz? Also, I’ve heard that the hien xSoft is a bit slower? Should I try soft or mid? Thanks.
Its probably rougher because theres little spikes trying to dig into the mousepad. Never going to be as smooth as flat skates unless you maybe use it on a hard surface, then the limited surface area would be beneficial.
I pre ordered an endgame gear xm2w and i have an hayate otsu (soft), maybe i will buy these new corepad skate when it will be available for this mouse :D.
