I am going through a very difficult time right now. I lost my church family 3 years ago and moved and have felt so isolated the past couple of years. My husband and I just told our very prideful and disrespectful 19 year old son that it was time for him to move out. He has been treating us like his enemy even though he is very loved and cared for. Sadly he has always been hard hearted and won't take responsibility and lacks humility. It really pains me to write this all out. I don't know why I am pouring out my heart here...maybe because I desperately need to feel God's presence and peace regarding this situation. We love our son Jacob so much so it hurts us when he thinks that because we want to establish healthy boundaries and help him mature and have life goals he says we don't live him. It is making things very tense between me and my husband and our other 4 younger children who I am homeschooling.
Please pray for my family! God bless🙏

Our oldest is only 12, but my heart is tender towards children who need the Lord at this tender, young adult age. Keep displaying Christ’s love and keep praying for him. You don’t know what God has planned for Jacob, and there could be a wonderful turning around for him. Hugs to you, fellow mama ❤️
@@caitlincunningham8354 I will be praying for you. When it comes to my children, I like to keep in mind tge scripture that says " raise up a child in the WAY he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it". I have a 17 yr old a 24 yr old and a 30 yr old, I hold that promise close. 💙
@@caitlincunningham8354 Always remember you are never alone in this journey. The Lord knows every burden we carry. Just want to encourage you to pray for your son continually. Prayers can break every stronghold. And always speak with love, and treat him with gentleness. Sometimes we tend to become hard on the ones who are not on the same path as we are and that only draws them further away from God and us. Just love him as he is and continue to pray. Remember Jairus...he came to Jesus for his daughter...it was Jesus who brought his daughter back to life. Jesus asked only one thing from Jairus 'to believe'. When you pray and intercede for your son just believe that nothing is impossible for our God. GOD BLESS YOU AND BE OF GOOD CHEER
Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words. They really have encouraged me. Just so you know God is already mending the situation and is helping Jacob make some plans. Jacob is handling the thought of leaving much better now and he knows that if it gets to be too much (pertaining to safety) he can come home. That we are here for him.
