I came here for one of my students with undiagnosed ADHD. He's in the process of being evaluated but checks all the boxes. This video is absolutely amazing! His parents are trying their best to help as much as possible, and they've asked for resources. I'm definitely going to send them this video! Thank you

Tell them to get the screens away from him, guarantee that’s the culprit. My brother had adhd in the 90s it’s undeniable when a child actually has it, most kids now are over stimulated getting steady streams of dopamine hits from screens causing them to act crazy when they’re not

This came at the exact time I feel my homeschooled 7 year old just can't tolerate focusing, sitting still, mind is elsewhere, her siblings are distracting her (2,3&4 yrs old) I'm going to focus on these activities before I move forward, thank you so much, invaluable advice from you

😊Hi I'm Korean. I happened to see this video. I am a father who raises a daughter. I was surprised that the games I played with my daughter were the same as what you said in this video. I did it without knowing it, but I was lucky to have a good effect as a result. Thank you for your great video. I think it will be helpful for many parents who raise their children.

At public school here in Belgium, they give pills to children to get them more concentrate by the age of 6. The teacher can force you to give pills to your kids if he estimate that they are not concentrate enough...it's horrible. One more reason to homeschool. Thanks very much Jady, you are helping a lot.

I totally agree.. sometimes pills are not good as the brain gets used to medication but once you train the mind in a certain way, there is no need as we can intervene to control some behaviors into positive one's. 🇿🇲🙏

Hi. I just stumbled across your video and it's very helpful. I am so grateful. I have a 6-year-old son who has a bit of trouble staying still on the chair during activities. Also, he has difficulty keeping himself engaged in a classroom setting and simply just doesn't associate much with his peers of his age, according to his teachers. I am currently working on improving his focus and attention span by planning activities myself on one-on-one basis. In my assessment of my own son (talking as a nurse too), he performs better with one-on-one teaching and is more interactive with older children or adults. I would just like to ask about 1 thing. For the pen that you used for your worksheets in plastic clears, is it the same one as the whiteboard marker?
By the way, putting the worksheets in plastic clears is a great way to make the worksheets reusable instead of printing them in copies.

I refused drugs for my son. He had a hard time focusing or reading and retaining what he read. He wasn’t hyper. 3 teachers mentioned drugs. No. He has to learn to live with and practice focus on things he doesn’t like to do. Especially in school subjects. We had a great class for they work with these kids. By 6th grade he could focus just fine. No drugs. No pill is a cure on so many things like this subject
