@Morimoto, do you guys a video link of someone actually adjusting your headlights to show how easy/difficult it is to get to the adjustment screws? Or are WE just screwed? I have the PDF. I would love to see someone ACTUALLY do it.
I did same thing I loved them for about few months. Then, the passenger side began shaking going over bumps. Warranty was done. Then a month later something goes wrong with drivers side. Basically it stop working. At this point I'm mad I gotta pull the shit off again and replace. A few months down the road, I notice there are some bubbles on the shroud itself inside the headlight around the projectors. Once again warranty. Few months, yet again shaking... While I appreciate Morimotos support on this and sending me parts. I have since stripped all screws, broke retainer clips... I mean it's too many times I've had to replace. So now I'm in the Gen 2 of these lights and time will tell if this happens again. I reaaaaaallly love the lights, just too many problems.
Would love your opinion/evaluation and comparison between the LED lamps inside stock reflector housing (V4), vs. the new Morimoto units. Obviously aesthetics aside, purely measured on performance. Please share?
That would be a really good comparison. In principle, the Morimoto LEDs should be better because the reflectors surrounding the LEDs were designed specifically for LEDs. In contrast, the V4 LED lights shine onto reflectors designed for incandescent bulbs, which have a very different light dispersion pattern.
Very very nice at first they looked ugly uninstalled but when you installed both on the truck i was like wow 😍😍 ...very nice dude hope to see more projects on the f250 👍👍
I'm not a ford guy but they do have some of the coolest headlights I like how they are integrated into the grille. Headlightrevalution hooked me up with LEDs for my Ram all plug and play working well

I have these in my truck they have been in since spring Awesome lights but now on of them is going out you hit a bump it comes back on I've tried calling HR and there phone is not accepting calls I have e mailed them three times and they will not respond. Anyone else have issues
I added fab fours vengeance series front and rear bumpers to my f250 and they make my black truck look mean!! Check them out u think they would add that something special to getting rid of the chrome.. also, check into getting your grille wrapped instead of painting,, can always go back to the chrome by simply pulling off the wrap. Nice truck!!
Man I have been debating on ordering these. Guess I need to pull the trigger on them. I believe if you have the stock LED headlights you don’t have to run that wire. But I may be wrong. And I’ve been told these lights are a lot brighter than the stock LED lights.
is there a video out there that shows how to adjust these lights? i keep getting flashed. i guess i am blinding other drivers. I've looked on RUclips and cant find anything.
Great install video. I want these headlights and was seconds from hitting submit on my order through headlight revolution but the complaints I read on BBB scared me away.
So I ordered them when they had the Black Friday deal and even though they were delayed due to high demand, it was great customer service because they answered my questions and gave me a reasonable expectation on time. I have since received them. Happy with the product.
@@dingdinglai I've thought of getting them for my 2017 F350. Could you answer 3 questions? 1) When on Low beam, do all 4 lights on each side turn on? ( on-comers tend to assume hibeams are on). Or do just a pair on each side turn on? 2) How is LED cooling achieved - fins/heat sink or an electric fan? 3) What their warranty?
Do the new head lights produce any heat? Up in Minnesota during the winter you get Sleet and freezing rain, if there is no heat coming from the head lamps they with ice over then you have no headlights. That's why I usually stay with stock or HID. I drive truck and we got some new trucks in with LED lights, during the first winter I had to pull over every 30 minutes to scrap off my headlights.
Would you venture to say they are as bright as the super novas you replaced? I have super novas on my truck and love them, but I like the look of the Morimotos better. I don't want to sacrifice brightness... Your thoughts?
Great video! I just got them on my super duty. What is your review on them so far? How do you turn them off and still use your power (drive in for example) thanks!
These look so good, I just picked up a 2019 F250 just a few days ago and I'll be ordering these soon as well as the LED front Ford emblem. I'm thinking it'll look 10x better than stock after that.
Great install video, I have same lights installed and I noticed we both don't have the bugatti chiron start sequence they advertise these headlights to have? Is there a plug that makes this work?
Should have painted that grill while you had it off! How are they working after a year? I've heard too many horror stories of these $1,000 LED's not working right after the warranty expires!

Garrett, I am not sure what the problem is. I would recommend you reaching out to the guys at Headlight Revolution. They have a great team that knows a lot about lighting. Maybe they can help you out better? I’m thinking it’s got to be a wire you plugged in that was supposed to be left off or something but I don’t know that for a fact. If you would keep me updated I’d appreciate it. That way if this a happens with anyone else I can let them know what worked for you. Was your truck an LED truck from factory?
moostang09 called Morimoto and they are sending me a fuse extender, as the DLR wife would not fit in the 35 spot for my truck.. should solve the problem
The only thing I disliked about your install take was....You never addressed the light adjustment instructions. There is a guy doing the same install clip as you except he discusses the distance from a flat wall to mark wear your old lights are so you can use the same distance to determine if the new lights meet the same standards of manufacture. Additionally, the only way to adjust the new lights you discuss is to take the lights completely off too make any adjustments. Outside of that, I love the lights. I'm not sure where you live but I live just North of Dallas. I am very intrested in seeing how you decide to get rid of the Chrome on the front of the truck. I've seen a number of people try to do that without just purchasing a new grille that is paintable and having it painted and it doesn't seem like anything other than that turns out looking good.
@moostang, any idea what options exist for stock/OEM-LED housings? These are a nightmare to separate and paint but it looks like EVERY option out there is for stock/OEM-halogen trucks. I think i've come across them offered in Morimoto but curious if you've seen anything else out there..

I've had 4 or 5 sets of these... All problematic. I'm not sure what's going on with morimoto. While they DO stand behind their warrant, once a year removals and or replacements are a must. I've had these on 15 f150 since they came out and on 19 superduty.
I'm sure these are made in China. So should I purchase morimoto or purchase 2019 platinum oem headlamps? I have a 2017 f250 halogen stock. I think I might go oem after hearing all the complaints.
Are the morimotos still working great? No issues over the last 2 years since posting this video? I’m thinking about investing for some for my 2019 F250
Performance only, no, because you can just purchase LED bulbs for cheaper and get functionality from that. With these lights you are getting much more than just Performance you are getting style, a modern looking light and something that completely transforms the front of your truck. The light output on these are fantastic, they have a very clean look when on with a crisp lateral line and they are bright and vibrant. Also based on the videos I have seen and forums I have read these lights are brighter than the LED lights from factory. Hope that helps.
moostang09 I currently have SuperNova V4 headlights and like them a lot, definitely the brightest and most crisp led bulb I’ve ran. I know you used to run the SuperNovas as well so compared to those led bulbs would you say these headlights are brighter? The biggest thing with me about led bulbs in a reflector housing is the light isn’t intense. Any bad weather would render my headlights useless. I know leds with a projector should be a more intense output, letting it cut through bad weather conditions better.
Love the video!
Thank you! Love the lights!

moostang09 I currently have SuperNova V4 headlights and like them a lot, definitely the brightest and most crisp led bulb I’ve ran.
Not sure about the headlight at night low looks good but not the headlights
