The honker either didn't appreciate you changing lanes in front of them just as you were about to stop (more on that later though) or thought that you had done so in order to double park. I think most drivers have been annoyed by somebody pulling out in front of them only for them to stop and park, double park or block the road and pick up a passenger and thought to ourselves "why couldn't they have waited until after I went past". However, I do not fault the cammer. I think their driving was not only safe (indicators were used and there was plenty of distance between themselves and the honker both for the lane change and the stopping to park) but I also think fair and reasonable considering the awful road design there required an immediate lane change and then stop in order to parallel park into that spot and the island at the junction prevents people from pulling out into the left lane for that junction. I think the cammer made the best of a dodgey situation and reckon the honker should learn to drive a bit calmer and more defensively.
I think you did nothing wrong. That driver was simply impatient, which also shows in the way he overtakes with sudden movements and without using the indicator.
You must have a lot of time on your hands......i doubt i would have time due to the amount of stupid driving, post covid lockdown. Traffic lights are the new thing to ignore, due to a new trend in stupidity.
You indicated left, made it clear you were parking. They were totally at fault and being inpatient.

Thanks for the comment.
Stick a camera on 50% of traffic lights and revenue will increase by 100%.

Courteous driving has gone unfortunately.
