    I have a box in the sink that captures all black sand and possibly the flour gold. I have soap powder in the bag that slowly dissolves. But yes this is not an optimal solution. I now use it with a bilge pump and recirculating water with soap. In my film ("Svarte sander") you can see how I use it now. I welcome suggestions for improvements! thank you again :)

    what kind of bag is tied to the faucet and how big is the hole in the bottom of it

      It is a random plastic bag. I adjusted the hole intil the water flowd as i wonted.

    Very risky method here... You get black sands in your pipes and you are looking at a plumber's bill more than likely. Also, you have no way to get soap into the flow to keep the flour gold from floating away. I have seen picker size lead floating before, that's why all the power sluices have flaps on them (to knock the gold down that floats).

    half your gold just went down the drain but when the plumber comes to fix your drain you can use it to help pay the bill,,, lol
