Synopsis::
Prasanta is an extremely talented artist and hardly finds time to spend with his wife Chitra. Chitra hails from an extremely rich family and her father does not approve of Prasanta’s profession. He is keener on Bipul, an NRI who does not like Prasanta either. To the latter’s advantage, Prasanta and Chitra fall apart after she discovers a half clad woman in his studio and misunderstanding. Prasanta deserts Chitra and leaves. Although Chitra is shattered, her father and Bipul mutually agree to complete the nuptial. Soon Prasanta comes to know about the alliance. With a pained heart he not only lets her go, as the film progresses we witness how he willingly sacrifices his life for the love of his life.

Didn't understand the progress of the story properly.The starting parts were really good. The Assam portion was dragging a lot. But, its an old movie, so all are excusable.
