      hey taevis, great deep dive! is it right that for back 3s you should throw a bit less than back 3s, and in the air tuck to speed up rotation or counter rotate in the end to finish the spin? if i throw too hard sometimes i land and revert. when you are in the air and feel you'll land 450, is there any way to slow it down to a 360, or would you just speed it up for a 5?

    Many thanks for this breakdown man 🔥 I really like this format. These little details make the difference for me, and with this knowledge I feel more confident to try out new tricks.

    MORE DEEP DIVES!!!! I love these analysis style videos. It caters so much to the intermediate rider and above that has specific questions about tricks. Taevis you are also very good at explaining and sound very clear. I am in located in NJ and I will be using these back 3 techniques in big snow indoor to improve. My main thing to work on at the moment is to not break at the hips. By the way I've compiled a bunch of your tips into my iPhone notes and take a peek when riding the chair lift . Good way to start breaking bad habits and keep reminding. TUCK IN glutes!! haha. keep the videos coming!! 👍🙌🙌

    More Deep Dives please, these are phenomenal. It would be great if you included a little snippet at the end of these videos on how to first work on these techniques using a Tramp Board or Jib Board if you do any rails or butter Deep Dives.

    I like this format. I think a lot of people don't really cover engaging your core, and that's something I've been struggling with this season.

    I’ll be viewing this vid multiple times over the summer to lock in the mind set and visualization cuz most of this season I’ve been working on and locking in back ones from both sides thank you Taevis you rock brother!

    I’m enjoying these types of videos too much. Mostly because this is the exact stage I’m in and your breaking down all my mistakes I’ve made. You got me to land my first floaty bs360 this season thanks v much! Keep up the quality vids I want backflip next season maybe we can get some break downs of what not to do etc. I really appreciate the science behind the tricks.. really helps my confidence. Who knew flexing my glutes was a part of the tech.

    Been with SA for years. This was the first time I’ve seen the counter-rotation at the end of a back 360. What a game changer (trying at home). Can’t wait to test on snow when winter arrives in 2 months.

    I really like this type of video format. It definitely breaks down the trick into easy to understand steps. Unfortunately my season ended last weekend which is when my local mountain closed. Also, being old(58) and busted it takes me a bit longer now to learn and lock in new tricks..... especially off mid to large jumps. Thanks again for the great content and keep yourself safe!

    Awesome vid! What if it's spring slushy condition and the take off is almost impossible to carve?

    • @SnowboardAddiction
      @SnowboardAddiction  9 месяцев назад +2

      That makes it a lot harder, basically you need to lower the amount of edge pressure as much as possible.
      That’s why firm take-offs are much more forgiving then slushy ones.
      So slush isn’t the best for training your form, since it is so challenging. But definitely something that can be worked around!

    • @lmThePro
      @lmThePro 9 месяцев назад

      @@SnowboardAddiction thanks a lot for the reply. Without a good set up carve I found it really hard to keep my lower body spin fast enough, which always lead to counter rotation the last 90-180 degree. But I have seen someone doing 720 on the exact same jump! That's crazy 🤣

    • @SnowboardAddiction
      @SnowboardAddiction  9 месяцев назад

      It’s definitely a challenge!
      It is more similar to a backcountry jump then a park jump when it gets very slushy.
      So some people can do it, but it’s definitely something that takes time to learn.

  • @lucasdenis8378
    @lucasdenis8378 9 месяцев назад +1

    I got constant with bs 360 on small jumps but couldn’t translate it to bigger jumps because I was spotting it wrong but now it feels like I’m literally relearning the whole trick

    • @lucasdenis8378
      @lucasdenis8378 9 месяцев назад

      Spotting under my arm seems to just make me lose where I am in the air I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I feel so blind

    • @SnowboardAddiction
      @SnowboardAddiction  9 месяцев назад

      It’s hard to say without seeing a video. Try ADDICTION+ out.
      Because the under the arm spot is the only option even if it means re learning the whole trick!
