At the start of every shark tank Aus:
    - Steve looks grumpy; really wants to ask where they’re from.
    - Janine’s sly smile, ready to give the worst offer possible.
    - Glen’s inching to take off his glasses.
    - Naomi’s knows 2 secs in she’s not going to invest.
    - Andrew already knows the valuation of company.

Wow. Just wow. Steve is absolutely right, and having access to a smartphone is LITERALLY THE NUMBER ONE predictor that a society will pull itself out of poverty, which all should be encouraged to do if they choose to.

Tribes having modern technology doesn't take away the authenticity of thier heritage and culture. I really think, the reason why this woman sought out tribes without these things is so she can "exploit" and take advantage of them. She probably won't pay them what they truly deserve for having privileged people walking around thier home and slowly damaging the intergrity and dignity of land that has cultural significance to them. As a young African person, the idea of a privileged white woman who has never had her culture and parts of her identity commercialized for the betterment of other white people makes me sick. I'm sure some Africans would agree with me when I say that it would have been much more appreciated if the business profiting from thier culture belonged, a 100% to the people of the tribe and not a group of white Australians. They literally said nothing about depriving anyone of anything? Lots of tribes still exist in the world that could gain access to modern technologies but choose to live with little to none of it and follow their cultural roots what's ridiculous about that? The fact this lady wants to provide an opportunity for people to see something like that isnt a bad thing in any way

I'm confused does technology ruin cultural ? You can still have emersive feel even if just a modern twist doesn't mean that culture is gone.
I like her pitch still just not the aspect looking away from cultures/tribes who have mondernize.

And this is how culture and tradition dissappear. Difference between shedding light on hidden culture and simple extortion.
