    Austin was pretty dismissive of removing the defensive three second rule, but I wonder why. I think that would be an easy and relatively seamless way to help defenses. So what if you have someone camping in the paint? Less easy baskets at the rim would probably lead to more mid-range shooting anyway.

    Every advanced stat says that the gap between jokic and the next best player in the league is significantly greater than the gap between either jordan or lebron and the next best player in the league at any point in their careers. The nuggets are by far the best team in the league whenever joker is on the court and are have a per minute point differential that ranks lower than the pistons and wizards whenever he’s off the court. His current BPM is 15.57, which would shatter his own all time record and suggests that hes having the greatest regular season in nba history. So yeah, he’s obviously the mvp and anyone who says otherwise is either ill-informed or just being a contrarian

    • @joemilo2710
      @joemilo2710 9 месяцев назад

      @@4evahodlingdoge226 No, it should be the most valuable player on a winning record team. Most valuable player means he does most for his team to win and no one does most for his team than Jokic. He leads his team in points, assists and rebounds every season and most other basic and advanced statistics. No one else comes close to it in value for their team. Without Jokic Nuggets would be a lottery team while other top teams without their superstars would make the playoffs easy because they have other star players unlike Nuggets. This is proven by Nuggets always being the worst team in NBA when Jokic is not on the floor and by the fact that Nuggets have a losing record when Jokic is not playing while all other teams have a winning record. In example, last season and every season Bucks and 76ers have a winning record when Giannis and Embid are not playing, which means those players are not nearly as valuable for their teams as Jokic is for the Nuggets and that's a fact, therefore Jokic is the true MVP always, people just too dumb to understand what MVP means. being a 1st seed has nothing to do with MVP as you can have multiple All-Stars on your team who do a lot of the job instead of you and can replace you when you are not playing. Take for example Celtics where Tatum plays with 4 other All-Star caliber players on his team, means he is not that valuable for his team because they can win without him most of the games.

  • @guiwhiz

    M.V.P - Most VALUABLE Player... not 'best' player. Who is the most valuable to his team's ability to win? THAT is the MVP. That is Nikola Jokic. All you need to see is how Bruce Brown and Jeff Green are doing this season so far. They are good players and I was happy to see them get rings and their bags, BUT the Joker made them WAAYY better than they are 'natively.

      It won’t be the same, because all the racists that insisted on Embid last year ate so much crow during the playoffs that they will be much (okay, a little) quieter.

      I mean, they are very talented and probably all future MVP's but if any of Tatum, Haliburton or Ant wins it this year, they might as well cancel the award, lol

      @bububaba8815 barely 20 games in. Both minny and Boston have the leagues best record. Denver has only played 2 more games than Philly. It will likely come down to record and what happens when murray is back and fully healthy
