Andy learned bass by playing a left-handed version upside down so it is natural for him. What is even more interesting is that Martin, their second keyboard player, also plays the same reverse strung bass guitar quite happily on stage for some songs even though he learned on a correctly strung bass. Very talented guy!
Sorry to say it, i love the song and the vocals were OK in the studio but I had already heard a rather mediocre live performance recorded in Paris at the time, broadcast on radio during the early 80's and now, this is not better.... This singer can't actually sing properly... he's more of a composer and bass player.
