What I love about the Westsail 32; Balance

I am always surprised how light Little Wing is on the helm in heavy weather. You can hold the helm with two fingers or let the wind vane steer without any worries. The cutter rig provides ample opportunity to manipulate the sail plan and this results in a balanced boat. In heavy weather she is quite easy to balance and sail.

You are doing a great job of sail trim to keep the tiller balanced. A lot of folks don't balance the sails and end up with a lot of weather helm..which also has been a bum rap for the W32.
This mini-series on the attributes of the W32 is something I've never seen in such a basic loving format. Ground breaking.
By the way, how do you like the solar panels on the bimini? and what wattage are they?
