I know it's not their Aveo's fault with the light interfering with the GTN, but still waiting to get my light module replaced 😀😀 (yes Damien knows) Looking forward to the next innovations though, sounds exciting that they'll have LX7-like lighting.

I’m looking forward to the Vegas tips as well. I’m already sold on the concept.

    That airtext callout is awesome!

Land DAR looks pretty neat. What’s the price point though, nothing on the website….

I was so impressed I forgot to ask. All I know is I’m ponying up to get one, even if I have to sell a kidney.

There are multiple other options just like it, too (that have been there for quite a while): the Engine Bridge height sensors (2 options), and the Microkit Solutions sensors. (Btw, I have a long, long list of all mods I could find for the RV10, let me know if that's useful, I've posted on VAF some time ago but happy to share again)

2 yrs, 2000 hr slow build. You’ll be flying sooner and on much less money. Dont being gullible. My Van’s provided senders are still working 12 yrs later. Our GRT FF transducer is primary anyway. $8k for zip tips. I don’t think so.

I’m not sure where you’re getting the $8k figure for ZipTips. The current market price for regular tips with the winglet is ~$3,500.
Duly noted on the senders, though. I’ll do more research.

@@CheckSixAviation I heard $3635 + $300 shipping. $3,935. Sorry, thought that was price each. Thankfully my Van's tips and Whelen strobe/position lights still work great. It's no wonder it takes $250K and 5-10 yrs for most to build. Once up there flying around the country with friends and family, they'll wish they had got it done sooner and skipped all of the upgrades.

No worries. Honest mistake on the mental math. They're sold as a pair. I hear you on your set-up. However, the thought of having the lighting effects they're talking about with the Vegas tips is just too irresistible to me. I promise I won't go overboard with the upgrades... at least not too overboard. 😉
