I remember reading a biography about Jimmy Swaggart around 1980. The book revealed how Jimmy had such a burden for his cousin Jerry Lee Lewis in hopes he would one day return to Christ. I’m glad Jimmy’s prayers came true. How about those musicians and backup singers!

This entire family is insanely talented! Jimmy Swaggart and Jerry Lee Lewis are the most charismatic people of the 20th/21st century. Watching the Classics, the crusades of the 80s, my son remarked: "Wow, he's a Rockstar!" Nobody can speak to a crowd like Swaggart and nobody was more talented and charismatic than Lewis.
Albert Brumley gave us so many great songs! This is certainly one of my favorites. One sign of a great song is that it can be done in so many different ways.
