MBTA Plow Train Battles a New England Snow Storm

  • This morning, I went out to the MBTA Haverhill Line to see the plow train battling the recent snowfall. We start out in Reading, where we see it cruising south on track 2. After missing him going north due to wiper problems on my car, we see it going south by Cross Rd in Haverhill, MA. Enjoy!!!

    Awesome video! We really got a good amount of snow yesterday here in Providence RI. I am surprised that MBTA was out plowing that early.

    Interesting! I know they also often use that GP9 904 as the motive power for plowing snow.

    Great catch! I hope pan am runs one Monday if the forecasters are right my region should have 3 or so feet of snow on the ground.

    Also it looks like they added ditch lights on the left and right of the head light.

    Plow's not even touching the snow. Why bother?
