Really high YUNGBLUD stage dive / stage jump!
First he makes a jump right from the stage, the he uses the stairs in the venue to jump even higher. Meanwhile, a fan fainted - of course he took care of her. 🖤

I was at the front of one of his concerts and when he was talking I screamed. He kinda just stared at me and I wanted to curl up and cry '-'. I've also met him backstage. I ACTUALLY cried that time 🖤🖤🖤🖤

He attracts people with good common sense. Notice how when they helped him off the barrier they were genuinely helping him and then let him go so he could see what was going on. So many other boybands etc would have been completely molested. It's so nice to see people just treating artists with respect.

Back in the early 80s, Bono from U2 used to climb scaffolding. Like, with no harnesses, or whatever. 50, 60 feet in the air. This was before they used any programming at all, so the song they did it over was completely just stretched out while he did that stuff... but he was just always putting himself in the face of danger... I feel like Dom could have a bit of that in him.

The first time I went to a concert I went to see a group called Max and Harvey. I swear to God, if I hadn't broughg my phone I probably would have forgotten the experience completely, which I would not have wanted to do. If was one of the best gifts for my parents ever got me, and also, I was quite short amongst the crowd of tall girls with their heels on. If I'd not have my phone with me, I wouldn't have been able to watch half of the performance, let alone always be able to rewatch it when I want to.

i was in the crowd and the first time he stage dived he jumped right on me. it was awesome. then we al fell on the ground which u can't really see, but we just kind off layed on top of eachother until someone picked me up lol

Yo I’d love this, mostly because I’ve been to so many concerts that im so used to that thing. But someone jumping from that height would be a crazy experience 😂
It's cool if you're with the right crowd. Loz from While She Sleeps and Rou from Enter Shikari have also made jumping into the crowd from a high point part of their sets and their crowds know what to do and also have some stronger guys to take a big part of the force but Yungblud crowds seem very inexperienced in this matter just from how Dom disappears into the crowd whenever he jumps

Especially since I think most people at a Yungblud concert aren’t going to be big guys because there usually the backbone when it comes to crowed surfers and when people stage dive && yeah it might be because his audience is younger or that there not used to the rock type of concerts
@@hannahortiz3832 I think it's mostly inexperienced people because I've had people drop me from just crowd surfing I'm talking big ol meat heads at a motionless in white concert picking up me a 150 lb dude. It's about how you take the weight not the weight itself
Hannah ortiz When I saw Yungblud in SF there were so many older and big guys in the crowd and most of the crowd was actually 18+, the friends I made were all legal drinking age and it was a good time. There was also a mosh pit which I did not expect to see! It was cool seeing so many older people just going hard at a yungblud concert, even though I’m only 17 I’ve grown up listening to rock, metal, going to see all types of bands thanks to my dad, so it felt like even though I was very young out of a lot of the crowd, I felt more comfortable in a way because it was all people who just love to go to concerts all the time and have an insanely fun time.

venue rules, i believe (from what i'd heard) that palaye didn't properly clear what he was doing with the venue. if i remember rightly, didn't he climb the truss? truss is only weighted for a certain amount and maybe it wasn't securely in the ground (sometimes it's not actually bolted into the ground just placed) so they were worried for his safety and cut the show.

well the thing is if people actually take part in it the force gets distributed through so many people that it's very unproblematic. If you look at punk and hardcore shows in the last couple years there are so many people stage diving and jumping in the crowd and what not and nobody gets hurt because people know the etiquette which is basically when on top of the crowd you don't flail your arms and legs around and when there are crowd surfers coming your way you put your arms up and help keep them up. In recent years in the more mainstream parts of punk these rules have been thrown out the window and that's where people get hurt
The Anna I know I sound so old but I think it’s because there are people with their phones out in the air like they are waving to the Queen or something and not enjoying the concert as the concert... I don’t know if that girl had her phone out or not but it wouldn’t surprise me if she did and wasn’t focused. Also if I ever went to a concert and got in the pit I wouldn’t take my phone because it would just ruin the experience.
@@Benlovescheese I do agree, phones are definitely a problem but they are not the root, they are a symptom. My favourite band is called Trash Boat, I've seen them 20 times and a good part of their fan base is under 18 but their fans have learned to read the room, film and take photos during the calmer songs and put the phones away when it goes down. But that's something you learn from people. And fan bases learn from other fan bases when they tour together so for example the Trash Boat fans learned a lot from the Silverstein fans when they toured together and from there on the Trash Boat fans learned from each other. Yungblud as far as I've seen didn't do many/any support shows where they could have learned proper concert etiquette and even if it worked in the beginning when his career sky rocketed there were too many new people at once to teach them all.
