Tall Varieties 🌴
1. Laguna Tall Laguna Tall (LAGT) - The most widely planted local tall in the country, first known to be identified in the province of Laguna (Luzon Islands, Southern Tagalog Region), hence endemic to Luzon.
2. Bago-Oshiro Tall (BAOT) - has shown resistance to known leaf spot diseases.
3. Baybay Tall (BAYT) - Copra per nut is quite heavy although nuts do not really look big; very thin husk; homogenous and produces high number of leaves per year; bunches with short peducle and nuts are trapped between leaf axils; stem quite robust and firm.
4. San Ramon (SNRT) - Famous for extra-large nuts and has high variability similar to Laguna Tall.
5. Tagnanan Tall (TAGT) - Produces an average yield of 3 tons copra/hectare/year. Has excellent nut composition, Highly uniform in stand and late maturing.
Dwarf Varieties 🌴
1. Pilipog (PILD) - Nuts are green and round; female flowers, tip of roots and base of shoots of newly germinated seedlings are pink; copra per nut is 100g.
2. Catigan Green (CATD) - The husk is thick; peduncle and bunch rachis are long; young nuts and petioles are green.
3. Tacunan (TACD) - Another green dwarf; spikelets are very short; nuts are medium to large oblong with broad equatorial diameter and pointed stigmatic, and unopened spathes are flat on distal end.
4. Baguer Green (BAGD) -The petiole colour is yellowish-green but the fruit colour is green.
5. Kinabalan (KIND) - Green dwarf, nuts are extra-large, robust stem and copra per nut sometimes exceed 300g; homogeneous.

hindi ko sigurado ang lupa jan sa inyong lugar, kung nais mo may soil testing services ang local na DA maari kang magtanong or magavail ng services nila. Kung hindi naman, pumunta ka sa mga karating na magcocopra sa inyong lugar at tingnan mo ang uri ng lupa meron then saka mo malalaman ang akmang variety ng coconut tree. salamat

I'm sorry for late response. depende sa location kung sa QUEZON province marami pong available na klase ng puno ng niyog mga nursery. kung malayo naman I suggest sumaglit sa local na DA at marami nman pong mga verified supplier kasi may listahan naman ang DA ng mga local and verified suppliers. salamat
