I think it has something to do with lyric wanting to end all organic life because someone almost killed him and now he needs the machine he's in to stay alive. I also remember some time travel BS involved
Not helped by the fact that Arin bypassed a locked gate that led to the final acts of the game w/o realizing by memeing around with the Knuckles glitch, therefore skipping a chunk of the story and content within this playthru. Not that the extra content would have made this make sense, anyway...

Man, this bring back so many memories. this series is how I found out about Danny and Arnold. Even though I didn't understand a thing at first, Because I'm from Mexico and I didn't speak English at the time. But something made me stay.. and watching them every day for the past almost 10 years now is how I learned the language.. this series means a lot to me.

BUT it’s even funnier because the boss camera sets up this like obvious “epic” fight and the silence of the game for like a few seconds of peace from the pause sound, Arin just immediately starts doing it again interrupting any seriousness the game has for itself and simultaneously make Danny upset but also laugh
1:55:53 I love how this make sit look like Sonic's main character syndrome got the best of him. Like, Amy and Knuckles did ALL THAT, and not only did he and Tails drop at the end of the puzzle course, SONIC took the McGuffystal rather than let them have their moment of dopamine getting the treasure.

The story about Dan not knowing how casual Arin was and Arin immediately setting the tone is like the story of Helga always wearing pink with a bow because Arnold complimented her outfit in preschool. and the really funny thing about the glitch is, knuckles is supposed to be able to climb anything, not just special walls. so really he SHOULD have this power (You're supposed to control where he can go with overhangs)
Watching this again is heavily reminding me of Jak and Daxter. Ancient ruins dedicated to a being who turns out to be Jak and he was sent into the future to keep him protected.
