That's crazy how there's other neighbors and they have AI like Mr.Peterson. This is the best game so far. Also the houses and new models are PERFECT. I can't wait to play it!

Lookin’ good tinyBuild! I find it very fascinating on how much the AI has improved throughout the years. I also like the fact that there’s more than one neighbor, and I can’t wait to see how the story plays out!

As someone who honestly enjoyed the first game, I’m excited to see how this one turns out. Looks like a massive improvement to me, especially with the story. Honestly, my only complaint with the first one (other than the story that had to be solved by theorists) was that it was hard to solve things on your own. But I’m not really the type of person who has issues with having to look up how to solve things anyway.

This is absolutely phenomenal! The graphics and models look BEYOND improved from the previous games. The story looks much more interesting, and it doesn’t look like they’re putting out anything lazy. This looks like something they genuinely worked on. That beginning part with the guest was actually creepy. Great job!
It’s shaping up to be my favourite game of 2022 already haha! I love how every resident is unique with each character having different activities (E.g. neighbour spying on people, mayor dancing) and I love some of the new distractions you can create. Keep up the great work 👍
Hopefully the game is what is advertised this time and isn't just a guessing game and trial and error disguised as "puzzles".
They advertised this kind of AI in the first game but seem to have ditched it for that game, so it's nice that they at least have a trailer dedicated specifically for the AI as well. THIS trailer is actually somehow gonna make me keep an eye on it despite the travesty of the first game.
Yeah same here. Hopefully they deliver the game in good shape and not have too much junky mechanics or a weird unmatching atmosphere
Exactly, if the final game actually works like it seems to in the trailer, I think it could actually be a pretty good game. I just hope they don't go down they path they took with the original Hello Neighbor 1 (nerfing the AI, big and confusing houses (parts of which the AI can't even get to), no real sense of a proper story (it used to have this, but the final "story" was a major let down), game breaking bugs and glitches, etc.)
Been following Hello neighbor since it's kickstarter days and I've pretty much played every version of these games that were publicly available, and I can't wait to play the beta of this game when it's available as well!
I think it's awesome that we have more then one enemy in this game, it looks really good and I might even pre-order it

This is very cool in terms of graphics and the design of the house has changed, well, hopefully hello Neighbor 2 will be released soon
Hello Neighbor - this is a game that I loved from the 1st alpha, but was disappointed with the release, then the alpha of the 2nd part came out and it amazed me, I sincerely wish you good luck and good productivity :)

So to recap:
0:27 So here, Quentin finds a drawing of a red-haired girl being punished by his father and now goes into an attic under her father's rules (most likely drawn by Aaron since he loves drawing dark stuff). Quentin thinks there is a connection between the girl in the drawing and Mya who went missing. He also think there is a connection between the father in the drawing and Mr. Peterson, who is the father of Mya. He theorizes that Mya might be located in an attic, because she might've disappointed her father in some way.
But the attic only opens by finishing a Bear statue in the museum where Mr. Peterson seems to live (around 0:32, there is a sign in the corner confirming this is the museum. Its only visible for a split second).
Quentin has to get the bear head from the Mayor's house, but its guarded by his dog. Quentin has to lure the dog away by using the police's donut (the police currently investigating the Petersons' house).
So Quentin goes to the Taxerdermist's home to steal his gun and use it to distract Officer Nielsen to get the donut, distract the dog, get the bear head, finish the statue in the museum and open the attic.
Quentin finds out that there is nothing in the attic, but a missing poster of Mya. He gets caught by Mr. Peterson who heard him.
When he gets to the attic we can see that there's blood dripping from the table and some sort of improvised curtain.

I'm not dumb, but i think the best game i've ever seen with good story and gameplay is in roblox called "A Roblox Quest: Elements of Robloxia". I love that game so much and i dont know what to say about it. Pretty sure it released on 2015.

I really hope they upgrade the AI in and don’t just let it be buggy like last game I do like how there’s multiple suspects in this tho
And I hope they fix the puzzles as well. They should make the puzzles more specific and not make it impossible like last time.

The beta looks great. Certain things look like they need a little more polishing, though.
reusing textures from Hello Neighbor 1 is fine, but certain textures don't really mix well with the new textures. The floor in the mayors room looks sort of odd to me comparing it to the wall textures.
Some of the character models look nice, but the police officer looks strange with a lack of eyes. I get it's supposed to look like the hat is obscuring it, but it just looks like he has no eyes at all, really.
The mayors model looks strange. Not bad, but it doesn't really fit with everything else.
Overall I'm looking forward to it! I hope the final release will be at least decent.

@@1FenFen1 nagging, this is how I can describe your comment. There is not a single thing in this trailer that does not match the style and atmosphere. Everything works well with each other and provides an opportunity to play with pleasure, this is the main thing that really important if we are talking about graphics. There are no issues here. The only thing I can agree on is about the officer's face. The other stuff is just nagging. I respect your opinion, but the way you express it is just ridiculous.
They are only reusing the blue round carpet texture and box mesh and texture from HN1 in this trailer. Everything else is new. There are some things that are inconsistent with each other though, that is something I can agree with. For example: the rifle and small table in Mr. Peterson's house ( 0:52 ) look like they come from a completely different game when they are compared to the table with the donut on it ( 0:56 ).

Happy new year Tinybuild! i love the hello neighbor franchise and i only have two worrys for the game, and that is music now this trailer has a amazing theme but its a trailer, so im just wondering will there be open world music like this trailers theme and will there be dialogue? like subtitles or something since the words of raven brooks are scrambled really awesome trailers guys.

@@player70477 Yes, I liked the game, I thought it was better than 1 because it was more "mysterious" the only problem for me are the bugs, but only 2 happened in my gameplay, one of them the neighbor stuck in the wall which allowed me to pass the level with ease and another is that for some reason I couldn't click a lever, I just respawned at the checkpoint and came back

This community really does have the memory span of a fly, everyone is like "OMG BEST GAME EVER, GREAT GRAPHICS, AMAZING ENVIRONMENT" for a game that isn't even out yet and may I remind you that gameplay quality > graphics quality. The first Hello Neighbor trailer also looked good than the actual game happened.
