Supporting Bali's Youth through Slukat Learning Center

At Chicago Balinese Gamelan's Fall Concert on Sunday, September 26, CBG invites audiences to make a donation to provide meals for Balinese families affected by COVID.
Funds will be directed to Bali's Slukat Learning Center, which is providing students' families with food packages consisting of rice, eggs, oil and other necessities. Each packet costs $7 USD or 100, 000 Indonesian rupiah and will go a long way in helping these families in need.
Slukat Learning Center (SLC) is a registered nonprofit organization that provides free after school education for children in Bali's Gianyar village. Founded in 2007, the school forged a new model for combining Balinese and expatriate forces to provide opportunities for children to have a better future. (Photo above from Slukat Learning Center)
Donations for Slukat Learning Center will be collected by CBG now through concert day, Sunday, September 26, then given as one donation payment to Slukat Learning Center.
