The game is launching today on Steam and from what I've heard, they've listen to the feedback they were given and improved almost everything from the betas. I'd be curious what you think about the release version of the game if you give it a try again.
I don't think they will make movement good, game devs generally only accidentally stumble into making good movement, they basically never do it intentionally. It looks like they will just focus on doing gimmicks that slow everything down rather than catering to fast paced gameplay.
Actually there is a game where wallhacks are fine - Blacklight: Retribution Although, considering it got shut down, you are probably right: wallhacks shouldn't be in any fps 😅

The problem is that it doesn't feel smooth. I don't think the game needs any advanced movement but it needs to feel smooth and fluid.
The problem with these new games seem more like the movement animations are completely weightless and stiff
all good takes, only other crime against gaming i would mention is the revolver doesnt 1 shot headshot, big sad
