Here’s a tip: If you’re (somehow) struggling to beat Bowser Jr in some castles/palaces, use the drill power-up to dig underground since Bowser Jr won’t be able to attack you
If you're playing a level with multiple exits, you only need to get the top of the flagpole on one of them to get a gold flag on the course screen. Also you keep every 10-flower coin you've collected after you lose a life, but if you restart from the pause menu you lose everything you've collected in that level.
If you're playing online and are about to grab a Third Power-Up (meaning your bubble is full), you can leave a Balloon for other people who may need it more than you, rather than letting it go to waste!
One other tip Felix you forgot to mention. One some levels of Super Mario Bros Wonder an easy way to tell if you have found all the secrets or not in that level, is IF by the time you reach the flagpole of said level, if it says 'Course Clear?' instead of 'Course Clear!' and your character is looking around, that means you have missed something and need to go back.

theres no ice flower in this game. how in the world is "hold run when pushing pipes" a tip, if someone isn't holding run at basically all moments in this game i'm concerned for their well-being the basic functionality of the reserve item being explained as a tip also feels weird but i guess it makes a bit more sense for a newer player at least?
I beat the second world and kinda lost interest. Been playing PS2 God of War 2 instead, may come back to it in a few months but I said that about Tears of the Kingdom and never looked back

To add to this, if you do need to reset the level hold down L+R and you can do so without losing any 10-flower coins you have collected.

The sound the controller makes also happens on those walls/floors that speed you up a bunch! I found that out while I was playing :)
