Thanks! I did the perimeter loop starting from Hwy 60. Stayed at Maggie Lake, Clara Lake and Browns Lake. I was supposed to stay a 4th night on Thunder Lake. Because of the rain I changed my mind and hiked all the way out. I don't recommend this. Made for a Loong day.

Just did this trail with my buddy. We hiked from west gate to Clara lake campsite. Longest day of our lives 😂

Gossamer Gear G4-20. I love it. Not super ultralight but light enough and very comfortable.

Are those Hoka Speedgoat Mid 2 GTX you are wearing? How did they hold up on the trail!
Speedgoat 4 GTX. They are very comfy. Maybe a little bit detached from the terrain. But fine for dirt trails. A little warm in the summer.
