    I’ve watched this video a few days before my biology paper 1.
    And can I just say, he accurately predicted a good amount of the topics in there. Although I had abit of anxiety during my exam but If it wasn’t for Mr Murray, I would’ve done ALOT more worse. He literally saved me in the exams. I revised those specific topics he mentioned and it’s honestly helped me out the best and it’s what is keeping me going.

    • @sameerishaque7635

      Might just be about how it's released or to outline the mechanism of negative feedback with insulin

    • @Ika-zg7vz
      @Ika-zg7vz 7 месяцев назад +3

      Probably a more general question, so like how is blood glucose level/ glucose release controlled by both the nervous and endocrine systems, (there was one abt water reabsorption)

    • @meb1851
      @meb1851 7 месяцев назад +1

      too basic for a 6, probably outline role of insulin and how it is secreted/controlled, with mark scheme also looking for the negative feedback for 5

      @@Ika-zg7vz Sorry but would you be able to explain how the nervous system is involved in regulating glucose levels?

    • @Ika-zg7vz
      @Ika-zg7vz 7 месяцев назад +4

      @@millyrae1111 It’s more of a unified q, so how the hypothalamus releases ACTH, which contols the release of glucorticoids (e.g cortisol) which are released from the adrenal cortex, they do a few things but one of them is ⬆️ [blood glucose] by ⬆️ glycogenolysis, so that means the control of the release of cortisol can impact BG levels, this is only an assumption that it’s NS control because hypothalamus is part of the CNS because obviously it’s in the brain, so I’m not too sure if this classes as NS control but yeah that’s what I would say! Hope that helps
