Another tip I have seen from looking at mark schemes, make sure you name all the equipment you use! e.g. measure length with a *ruler*, measure mass with a *scale*. The mark schemes often will name those devices, so it can't hurt to do so yourself. It could get you a mark or two.
bioRach, you're video's are always the first thing i come to whenever i'm struggling in OCR a level biology. the calming music in the background is what really makes you the best. thanks so much queen will miss u when i finish bio
Just want to say thank you so much. I have brought grade up from a C/D in year 12 to a possible A/A* (in Jesus name) honestly I can’t thank you enough. You are better than all my teachers. Many blessings
You've made all of the A-level content so much easier to get behind. Lessons always felt like they breezed past and I always felt disorganised looking for several revision resources for different topics. Having it all cohesively explained here makes it really convenient to look over things I don't have 100% confidence in. Thanks for your effort in making these videos and I hope your channel continues to grow.
We are all finished!!! thank you so much for all your content! i feel confident for all three papers and i dont think i wouldve been anywhere near ready without this channel
Hi, just got my results, I was on a grade B all year and could hardly get an A I watched your videos at the last minute before my exams and came out with an A !!!! Thank you so much you literally saved my exams
Thank you so much for all of your videos, they really carried me through my A Level and were so helpful. A quick question- I am planning to do Biology at university. Do you have any recommendations of resources that could help me that are similar in structure to yours? As a visual learner, your videos suit me very well so if you know anything similar for degree level that would be so appreciated! Also, any tips at all on studying bio at uni. Thank you again!
Hey I was just chilling I’m already done with A levels got my A grade, and my offer at uni thanks to u, but I really missed bio and your way of teaching , keep up the good work
Really pleased to hear you got such a good grade!!! Thank you for your continual support and I wish you all the best with whatever you do in the coming years 🥰
I think people will do just as fine as previous years. The grade boundaries are always adjusted to ensure a similar proportion of people getting each grade, so there won't be much difference between the years.
there was a question on my a level last week about a control experiment. Like, it asked why has a student done an experiment without IAA present (investigating effect of IAA). Was it enough to use the term 'control experiment' or was it necessary to use 'negative control experiment'
Babe wake up BioRach is saving our A levels

That's paper 2 and 3 only
Stats are in papers 2 and 3, cuz they're found in modules 4 and 6 :)
@@BioRach do you need to memorise the stat test formulas?
@@chantal6580 For OCR, they're given to you, but you might need to know for what the letters stand.

Do you have cell organelle videos?
Do people think that everyone is going to do better or worse in this years' Bio compared to previous years?
I think people will do just as fine as previous years. The grade boundaries are always adjusted to ensure a similar proportion of people getting each grade, so there won't be much difference between the years.
Hey BioRach, is control the same as control group?
Yup
Yes!
thanks bae
My queen

Could you quickly explain what a Negative Control is?
cant wait to flop tmrw xx

Just 'control' would be enough! :)
