Adding more spots to my already long list of places to go. Love living in Chicago and having access to all the amazing food. I agree Chicago is the best food city in the world.
Lived in Chicago for 20+ years...I've heard of Greek Corner because I lived in Ukrainian Village. Never heard of any of these other places though. South Side is a completely different world than North Side, and highly underrated.
Just want to say thank you so much for your videos! We relied on your content so much in our planning process for our trip to Chicago and we absolutely loved our trip 😁 Can’t wait until we can return to Chicago again to try some of the spots in this video that we didn’t hit up!
I usually go to Ferro’s on 31st & Wentworth or Nicky’s on 58th & Kedzie for rib tips but I’ll have to take a trip out to Lem’s because those rib tips looked amazing. I think all of the lesser-known Chicago foods are what make Chicago a truly elite food city lol. Rib tips, Big Baby burgers, breaded steak sandwiches, depression dogs, Maxwell Street Polishes, etc. We are beyond spoiled.
Grew up in Northwest Indiana and moved to DC/Baltimore 13 years ago. If there's one food I miss, it's gyros. Really hard to find Kronos-style gyros outside of Chicago
Was in Chicago April 13-17 …visited one of your recommended pizza places and also tried the Italian beef at Luke’s. DELICIOUS. Next visit I’ll try the hotdog. Won’t be putting in the ketchup though…don’t want to get arrested. 😂
Chi town homegirl here born at Cook County Hospital WAY before you my friend 😂. I love how you show Chicago and all your reviews. Can you do some Vegan restaurants? One of my favorites is Urban Vegan on Ashland and Montrose. I’d like to see what you find, and what you think.
I used to work at 209 W Jackson. I probably ate at Luke's too much. Oh well, every meal was great. Guilty of having too many pizza slices from there as well. A true 'pat down all the grease' kinda slice.
Absolutely love your channel Luis and Narissa. I live in Perth Western Australia and I’m finally coming back to the States for the third time and bringing the family this time and of course coming to Chicago. All of your videos and tips have been so damn good been watching them all. Your videos are so entertaining and informative and you and Narissa have such a natural but also professional style. Awesome awesome stuff.
Great video brother 👊🏻 but the way you ate all the food without getting the Walter Payton shirt dirty is impressive!! I would have gotten staines with the hotdog
I was born and raised north of chicago. I always loved getting chicago dogs. When I moved to Loiusville, KY, there are quite a few "Chicago style" restaurants that sold knock off chicago style hotdogs. Either they didn't use vienna beef hotdogs or they had the wrong toppings or wrong bun. None of them could get it right. That was until I found this little mom and pop place. The owner is from Chicago and he and his wife wanted to open up a genuine Chicago eatery. They had the vienna beef hotdog, the bright green relish, all the correct toppings including the celery salt. It's my only little slice of Chicago out here.
Thank you, looking forward for my trip to Chicago in 2 weeks and try some of the classic food!! Will definitely be watching all your Chicago videos. from Bay Area California yyyyyeeeeee
I was visiting Chicago for the first time like 5 years ago, I was hungry and stumbled upon Lukes Pasta Bowl. It was the best hot dog I've ever had! I also love the fries, they look and taste like McDonalds, no cap!
Ribtips was one of my favorite Chicago foods growing up! Whenever I want really good ice-cream, I always went to Margies Candies, but now that you showed that Rainbow Cone spot, I'm definitely checking that out the next time I'm in town.
Lem's is the only place for ribs and rib tips been a patron since they opened, I love Calumet Fisheries and would go there at least once a week or more for many many years. I am a South Sider so not familiar with the other places but will give them all a chance soon.
You must either: 1. Do these videos over weeks 2. Hit the gym almost throughout the rest of the day 3. Throw it all up bulimia style 4. Just take one bite of everything for the video If I did everything you did in these videos I'd be like Brendan Fraser in the Whale.
Dang you've made me hungry! I've been binging on your videos in grand rapids mi. We've immediate family in chicago. Going out tonight for some yummy fire wood cooked pizza.
Chicagoan Born And Raised... Never Heard Of Lukes For An Italian Beef?! You Have Several New Places I Have Not Had Might Give Some Of Them A Try.. Rainbow Ice Cream Is Worth Trying For Sure...Been Around A Long Time.

I gotta give you props, you’re hitting up the Southside hard in this video. You rarely see the south or the west showcased in Chicago vlogs.
I love Lem's and Calumet Fisheries. Those don't get a lot of media exposure. Nice work!
Calumet fisheries fried oysters, and stuffed shrimp, smoked salmon dammit stuck in hospital cant get it just yet

@@TBStudios Bro that's fucking insane to me. People never leave the 5 square miles from the hood they were born at lol
@@pinacolaaadasdifferent parts of the city feel like whole different cities, and if you don't have to go out your way, no reason to in the Chi
I know right, I grew up in Garfield Park, and have lived in Uptown for over 20 years now. I have seen most parts of Chicago. Travel peeps!

Rainbow Cone is such an underrated iconic Chicago tradition.
Grew up with it from 50’s to present.

Thankyou for another great video. The Rainbow ice cream cone looked delicious! But deep pizza that you could eat with your hands is next Level!

I had t Rainbow ice cream back in 1956. We’d stop on the way to Halsted Outdoor Theater.
The free throw comparison got me hitting that like button
I love deep dish Chicago pizza and ketchup has no business on any hot dog
The smoked shrimp is amazing at the Calumet Fisheries
Greek Fries are a MUST try! Soooo good!
Amen to all of it👏👏
