Romania 1990, the Madrigal Choir and Maestro Marin Constantin invited Academician Professor ZOE DUMITRESCU-BUSULENGA to participate as a guest in their anniversary concert at the Romanian Athenaeum, Sept. 22. The historic speech offered by the famous Romanian scholar invoked Romanian traditions and Maestro's genius to record some of the most important Romanian Christmas Carols and share them with the world in tours and concerts with his ensemble. In the end, Maestro Marin Constantin offered the Romanian academician the famous Christmas Carols recording (LP) banned for 10 years under the communist regime, as a token of appreciation for her contribution to Romanian studies.
