Thank you, Tim. Every thing you post, whether spiritual or secular, points my thoughts to Christ and God’s wonderful mercy to us. I praise God for you and your talents. Never stop!
All I can say, is thank you Jesus for paying the ultimate sacrifice that those of us who believe in him will have everlasting life, ladies and gentlemen, there’s no way we can take him it off now Tim we can thank you right off the bat. It was beautiful. Thank you so much and whoever arrange that song beautiful I’m sharing out with all my friends
This was one of my dad's favorite songs. My quartet sang it for our (we shared September 3rd) birthday back in 1979. The same version. I'm crying my eyes out as I sit here watching this now, remembering his and my mom's tears flow like rivers as we sang it to a house full of friends gathered for our party. Making it harder, also, is that the quartet broke up that next June as our Lead and Barri graduated from our college and went their own separate ways. Our Tenor and I never were able to come close to matching what we once had with a few other guys during the next six years. It wasn't meant to be. I still dream of being able to sing "That Old Quartet of Mine". But that will not happen either. My chorus (since 2013) has now gone to Saturday meetings which I cannot attend, and I will regretfully have to quit. Other choruses are hours away. It just ain't supposed to be - I still can't read music and my hearing aids didn't help. But, I have you. Thanks.
As a long-time Barbershopper, and longer time Believer in the power of "The Old Rugged Cross," this totally blew my mind, and brought tears to my eyes, as you presented this,, on this Good Friday. God has given you a rare treasure, your voice. Thank you!!
I just LOVE Tim’s baritone. Shows off both his epic high range and awesome low range… best example of making the baritone sound like a “2nd lead”. Amazing work! 🐐
HOW DID I MISS THIS? eating peanut butter in my room alone (I have covid atm) and literally crying. First rice, then beans, and now peanut butter. Tim, you have superpowers and you do not know it. Much love and respect.
Oh, Tim!! Thank you for allowing me the space to slow down and sit with Jesus for a moment. I thank God for the fact that this is free for me to listen to and that I can listen to such amazing talent any time. You’re doing amazing. Keep doing what you’re doing. The music and peace you’re providing is priceless. :)
With all your years of experience and acquired knowledge about how to record a 6-minute multitrack with as much precision and beauty as this… and to deliver it after a major vocal impairment… I’m applauding God for how He helped you put together this masterpiece! Thank you for sharing this with us all, Tim! Truly remarkable!
That was absolutely amazing Tim , this right here is a true example of how God can use someone’s voice like yours to speak truth and Love !!! Thank you Tim ❤
God bless you Tim for blessing us with your God given talent, especially in this Gospel medley that brought me to tears and helped increase my faith in my Savior Jesus.
Beyond the singing, the sound engineering is amazing as well! it makes it easy to follow what parts are where, almost as if there were really four Tims singing at once.
I listened to this beautiful medley and just had to sing along in my own language (German), because this songs are one of my favourites. Thank you. Praise the lord, for what he did at the cross.
Genuinely one of the most beautiful choral arrangements I've ever heard in my life. Jim Clancy is a master of his craft, and so are you. I make it a tradition to listen to this full mix every Good Friday so your sense of timing with this upload is perfect, cause now I have a video to go with it!
This is beautiful! With Easter weekend here so good to reflect on what Jesus did for us on the cross and for you to bring it through music is a blessing to all who listen, Thank you Tim!
WOW! Inspiring, reverent, beautiful. What a fantastic arrangement, made even better by exquisite, heartfelt singing. Thank you, Tim, for making this Good Friday especially good.
Not religious, but I remember when I was this was my favorite religious song. I listened to it on Acapella Hymns this was beatiful thank you for sharing.
The Acoustix version of this is ("Hymns of the Cross medley) is still probably one of my favorite sacred barbershop arrangements. So, seeing you put this out on Good Friday, of all days, has definitely made my day!
Gawd this is beautiful. This was my mom's favorite hymn, we played Alan Jackson's rendition at her funeral. Wish she coulda heard this. She was a huge BBS fan and she would have loved it. Thanks Tim!
Tim, Bless you man. That was my Grandmother's favorite song and we sang that to her in 2006. You made me cry😅 Very beautiful song from a very beautiful soul! Thank you so much Tim.
So many bonus Tim's recently! Beautiful rendition. I am weeping inside. This song is just a reminder that God did not ignore our suffering or stop it, but rather took part in it to redeem us all.
This is so beautiful Tim. Old Rugged Cross was one of my moms favorite hymns in part because her grandmother loved it. My mom would have loved this. Ross
What an exquisitely fashioned arrangement! I found myself completely lost for a time in these transcendent harmonies. Tim's got something extra special going on with his unparalleled divine voice and soul.
