Oh man, that last “believe” chord progression straight up forced me to cry. The chills got more and more severe until I guess my brain needed another route to let that feeling out.
Tim has such an amazing vocal range and just gave me goosebumps listening to one of my favorite Christmas songs. Thank you, Tim, for recreating such a beautiful song with your voice talent! ❤
This has become the Christmas version of "go the distance" by vocal spectrum, where I listen to the song on repeat for an hour. The rich, warm depth of the ending tones are truly touching.
@@TheLittleBarbernator I’ve worked hard to maximize my range and resonance. A comment like “can’t always compete in the morning” would be more accurate. lol. As I primarily record bass in the morning so it’s most resonant. I sang every one of those bass notes. But thanks for watching and hope you can enjoy them even more now! 😃
@@TheLittleBarbernator I always try to think back to the golden rule, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” I understand we all have our opinions and you’re certainly entitled to yours, but I can personally vouch for Tim not having to rely on shifting the pitch for low notes. Having stood next to him and hearing him sing notes like these. Spreading misinformation is not the same as having an opinion. I would more importantly try to encourage you to leave comments when you have something kind to say, rather than consistently leaving negative comments on a musicians public page.
Tim, this is gonna sound crazy, but I want to hear you sing some of Bach's four-part chorales! If anyone can pull that off alone, it's you, and I just think it would be pretty special. This is great too, though -- thanks!
Wow...thank you!! I would need to work hard to pull those off. That would sure be fun though. Thank you for the idea...you've got me thinking about doing it!
Oh, Tim 🥹 You have absolutely made my day. I love The Polar Express, it’s my favorite Christmas movie, and my goodness, you sing this so incredibly beautifully. Thank you, Tim. You are a treasure, my friend 💖
I watch the Polar Express every year on Christmas Eve. It's my favorite Christmas movie and (despite being a kid's movie at the end of the day) means a lot to me. This was a nice surprise!
Tim, as usual, your sensitivity to the song is what makes your tracks the absolute best! Thanks for sharing your gift. P.S. I have "When Christmas Comes to Town" - also from Polar Express - if you wanted to continue the holiday theme. 😊
C'mon! Hitting that E-flat there in the bass at the end with so much warmth and sonority? Like, that's not even fair. Save some talent for the rest of us, man.
also beautifully done if I were to give a little advice try and give it some more emotion. you did a fantastic job this would bring it to the next level. good wishes
Man.... what you do is ....no word can say ! Technic is perfect but it is so sensitive... moves me ! Just allow me to associate the arranger whom work is wonderful too. Most of people here seems to ignore what is an arrangement and how it gives the frame to a piece.
Hi Tim, This cover was really special fir a number of reasons. From the time I was a toddler, Polar Express was always my favorite movie. I probably watched it hundreds of times in the car DVD player! Polar Express is part of what influenced me to start volunteering at my local railroad museum, where I have been a Polar Express conductor for 2 years in a row. Believe is Ive of my favorite songs from the movie soundtrack and doesn’t get enough attention. Keep up the fantastic work! - CS
Beautiful singing Tim. I felt that D#2 in my chest! I would love to hear you sing "Are You from Dixie" as sung by the Western Continentals or "Redhead" as sung by The Innsiders
Beautiful job! Love this song and this arrangement! You singing it makes it that special! Looking forward to the new videos coming out this next month!
I’m in your top .1% of listeners on Spotify with 3,554 minutes there alone but I still love everything you’ve been putting out on yt so keep being awesome!
I've always been wondering, Do you pitch down your voice for the lower parts? If you do, How? What programs do you use etc. I've been really wanting to do some harmonies with singing and I think it would be really cool to learn how to do this!
0:40 crunchy, but lovely. Interesting to see the to system of the score being an octave down from treble clef, is it common for this type of scoring? barbershop technique I guess?

@@gloriabouchard2496 haha I should have brought some to Hamilton!
I Believe... that a full video by Tim counts as early Christmas !!
hahaha get ready - because there are more full videos coming this month!
Oh man, that last “believe” chord progression straight up forced me to cry. The chills got more and more severe until I guess my brain needed another route to let that feeling out.
You can thank Jim Clancy for that.

Love it! Thank you for that!
Tim proving he could win the internationals singing all 4 parts. He seriously should attempt it, just like Gary Lewis. Beautiful song as always
Very kind! Thank you!!

This was awesome. The polar express music is super nostalgic for me, and I loved that ending so much!
Thank you!!
I have no words. . . .
Nice, better than Josh Groban ever could sing it haha. THE NOSTALGIA!!! Christmas is here hooray!!!!
Thanks so much!! I appreciate that!
I showed my Music Theory classmates a Vocal Spectrum song and got them hooked...
Very beautiful!! You know, what would be a wonderful Christmas present? A full Christmas album from Tim Waurick himself!!
Hoping for next year!!
Man, when I first heard this song performed by Josh Groban, I didn't think anyone could do it justice or even top it, but Tim, you've done it again
Thanks so much, Sam!! I really appreciate that!
What a beautiful ending.
Oooh, I love it when Tim does one I know, so I can belt out the tenor part with one of the very best accompanying me!
Idk how, but god, the voice sound like heaven😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Even the grinch would smile at this song 😊

I would describe this as a christmas miracle. Unbelievably good and nostalgic.
Absolute perfection, I could imagine this being used in the actual film itself.. you are AMAZING, my friend!
Thanks so much, bud-dy!!
Not once have I ever heard someone sing chords like you are. This is truly beautiful.

If you don't pitch down your parts, HUGE props to you. I really want to know how to do this tho. :)
beautiful
Just incredible 🤷♂
Yes!
It remainds me the music of Edward Scissorhands somehow..I don't know why..by the way very great, Tim ❤❤❤
Hi Tim, what software do you use to record in multitrack? Thanks and compliments for your voice, it's very beautiful and you are very good. Bye
Awesome!
Thank you!!
I’m not that educated on music but why are there sometimes 5 parts throughout the track? Is the fifth even being sung? For an example during 0:17
0:40 crunchy, but lovely. Interesting to see the to system of the score being an octave down from treble clef, is it common for this type of scoring? barbershop technique I guess?
Yes, this is the typical scoring in barbershop. Just works better for tighter voicing in a somewhat lower range.
LOVE the vocalist and the vocal work. The song doesn't "do it" for me. I'll have to find some other stuff. He's remarkable!
Damn how the heck did you hit that low E and sing so high in the tenor range?!
Hey… I recognize this learning track…
Please download the new Christmas song, my mom loved it.
Funny I just watched this 2 days ago
